We should have stayed here prior to our start, but were at the Rock House outside of Nairobi instead (not as recommended) as it's sister place in Nanyuki. Great, fantastic staff, especially Agnes in F&B Service who with the team went out of her way to offer splendid service. Food at dinner was fantastic (especially any of the curries). Very...

Stayed here before treking in Mount Kenya. Found staff to be helpful and friendly. Rooms were comfortable and food more than adequate. Warm water and set in lovely surrounding which are full of wildlife. While I was there school children were visiting and having a really good time on the Skywalk. Would highly recommend but it is Lodge accomodation and...

Setting was cheerful full of wildlife, staff friendly. Bedroom clean, food filling, felt safe and secure. I did one of their guided tours out of Mt. Kenya within a group of 5. Very happy with staff, itinerary, how we were looked after, etc.

We stayed there as an alternative to town accommodation in Nanyuki and enjoyed the stay alot. The rooms are clean and cost pocket friendly. This is the best base for hiking to Mau Mau Caves which took us 5 hours but would have taken us less if we had taken the offer to ride horses to the caves.

We were originally booked to stay here for three nights. However, after the first night we checked out and moved down the road. The place is run down, seems like nothing has been done since it was built in the 70s. The staff was not friendly at all. The meal was horrible, 45 minutes after we ordered we were told...

We visitied the place over the easter period. The welcome was not very grand maybe due to our arrival time which was late in the night. But the food quality was very good. The rooms very well organised with a fire place. Since we were to try and climd mount kenya the following day, Mr. John arranged for the vehicle...
