I came to Martinez de la Torre to buy limes for exports. I takes 5+ driving from Mexico City or 3+ hrs from Veracruz (closest international airport). It is country at is best; but for us, produce people, is enjoyment. Finding this amazing and cozy and farm like posada was a bless. In the middle of a lime and banano...

We booked for 3 nights. We only spent one. I don't know where to start this hotel is horrible. The tub was very dirty, rust and tartar everywhere, sink same thing. Outlets unsusable because some genious covered the with some sort of wood pice so forget charging your phone or anything. Taking shower was disgusting the least to say. Shampoo...

Food was acceptable, no complicated meal took almost 2 hours to get ready, prices high for such not elaborated food. Many dishes were not available due to New Year's Eve. One waiter for 6 tables. We were a party of 9 and dishes were coming as they were prepared, even beef tacos took more than an hour to be served

After looking at their website on design hotels and on their one website, I thought this is the place. So nice and cute and nicely decorated .... Well all this disappeared the more we approached our room ... First we changed 3 times to find one with the air conditioning working. The furniching is run down outside and inside, with...

The hotel is located in what used to be a plantation owned by a french family. The hotel has kept a lot of the original buildings and decorated them in a lovely style that complements the architecture. the food is simple, local and delicious, and the gardens are absolutely luscious.

The Maison has about 12 large comfortable casitas, each with a walk in shower and lots of hot water and with its own semi private patio. Very good bed and linens. The staff was very helpful and welcoming. A big surprise was how good the food was and at a fair price. All dishes were made in the kitchen, even...

This rural property is unique. A mix between the ancient french and modern architecture with amazing infrastructures. A place to relax near the citrus field and bananas trees, with a very good service. I recommend a visit to Jicaltepec. San Rafael it's a quiet town and the beach of Costa Esmeralda, taking some few points it's entirely decadent.

My husband and I are fans of this hotel group, having stayed in their Puebla property. This hotel is extremely unique, as it is in a very tiny town, not near any touristic destinations. I'll admit, the drive from Veracruz was horrible, as it is mainly a 2 lane road with trucks, buses, tolls, etc. The locals pass on the...

The hotel is really nice, people try to be helpful. The hotel is really nice decorated, impressive gardens and great cold pool, you will thank for it. The problems were: The tv doesn't work and, apparently, no one knows hot to fix it. The shower doesn't have any pressure and when you turn it on the whole room smells. You...

Excellent property. Totally relaxing place to unwind and enjoy a beautiful part of the world. It's located on a lime and banana plantation in the state of Veracruz, about 20 minutes from the beach. In my opinion, the land here is much nicer than the beach but if you're a beach person, it's an easy visit. It's not easy to...
