It is gorgeous, but expensive and far from restaurants and amenities - and its restaurant onLy serves breakfast. If you don't mind paying twice the local rate and staying in a manicured bungalow, you may like it more than I do.

My wife kids and I stayed here for 17 nights through Christmas and New Year's. I booked a Junior suite online about eight months in advance of our stay. We arrived at the bus station in Cordoba and hailed a taxi to take us to Posada Loma and arrived around midnight. The night watch security guard greeted us outside the...

I haven't had the pleasure of a night in the hotel but the restaurant is very nice and on a clear day it has an absolutely stunning view of the Pico de Orizaba. The pool is very inviting too. I've got an apartment in Fortin but might stay there just for fun.

The bad: We had to hire a taxi to lead us there. We needed the promised fire in the room. Wood was provided but no one on site to ignite it. A cold night! The good: The grounds (though the promised tour was not available.) The breakfast - from a menu not the dreaded buffet. (Though we were cajoled into...

This is a the best hotel to fall in love again with your wife, lover, girlfriend and/or pinchable other. Magnificent location. Surroundings look like a flower and plant showroom. The flowers´ night aromas invade the whole courtyard and the rooms couldn´t be more cuddly. Fireplace in every room (and A/C too for the high temperature guests) with wood logs and...

I've been living as an expat for more than 3 years in one of the house at the Posada Loma - and it was a wonderful time, I'll never forget about it. Posada Loma is a paradise - the garden is so overwhelming - the place is so great and peaceful. The service is impeccable and the duena (the owner)...

Posada Loma is set in 8 acres of well looked after gardens which were established 60 years ago and contain over 300 variety of orchids. There are 20 bungalows and rooms, all quiet, clean. The restaurant serves delicious food.

The hotel is close to the 'quota' 150D, we stayed in one of the bungalows, and they are more like houses, with living room, dining room and kitchen. They are clean, spacious and very quiet and private and you don't really feel like in a hotel, our rate for a place that easily accomodated 4 was very reasonable. The breakfast...

The Posada Loma is a wonderful small hotel with several bungalows set amidst a very large tropical garden. It is very serene and quiet. There is a small swimming pool as well as a pool for small children. The restaurant is wonderful: covered al fresco dining with views of Pico Orizaba (Popocatpetl) volcano. Great food with homemade jams and salsas....
