Beautiful semi-rural location, feeling like idyllic countryside but actually you could walk to the nearby town. The restaurant does good food in a 'fine-dining' style. There is a decent sized pool, so perhaps more than a restaurant with rooms but that is what it feels like. The restaurant is the focus and it gets very quiet after dinner service finishes....

Wonderful rural location but easy to find. Beautiful setting. Heated pool you can swim in, sumptuous rooms - large enough but not huge- and superb food. Beautiful decoration. We will be back as soon as we can. What more can we say?

We found this to be a good place for our excursions in Normandie. From here you have good access to the Pays d'auge area, Rouen, Honfleur with more. With a great pool area it was nicefor the kids as well. The kitchen deserves a own review, but bear in mind that it is rather expensive. But it deserves a visit!...

We stopped here for one night en route to a family gathering in Charente Maritime. This gorgeous thatched hotel and restaurant is nestled in beautiful grounds in a sweet little village. The staff were friendly, attentive and professional. The room was very modern, very clean, with a Soopa comfy bed and pillows. Also a terrace with table and chairs directly...

Beautiful contemporary and large room with a lovely terrace. Nice pool. Food rather expensive but very nice. Some way away from Rouen in the countryside. Near a lovely little town called audience. Staff charming. Free parking on site under shady trees.

A charming small hotel in a delightful setting, very convenient for ferry ports. And dog-friendly. However, service was extremely slow at dinner and we slept very badly because 1) it was impossible to open the window and have the blinds closed, so the room was airless and stuffy on a summer's night (and the air con too noisy) and 2)...

Luxury at affordable prices amongst the delightful trees and shrubs of the garden where birds sing and one can unwind . The hotel is a pleasure where one is well looked after and the food is simply delicious.

Very charming small hotel in a quiet out-of-the way location. Comfortable room but could have had a few more amenities (hand soap at sink, wine glasses in room). Very good restaurant on-site. We dined there as location does not lend well to eating elsewhere.

We have visited the restaurant for many years but this was the first time we had stayed at the hotel. From the time of arrival to departure we received the most excellent service. The room was very clean and comfortable. The food of a very high standard and a good selection of wines. The owners are delightful as are the...

We were returning to the place where we spent our honeymoon night with little recollection of it! 25 years later back to a really marvellous surprise! "The romantic stay " includes b&b and evening meal with wine included. The celebratory dinner was out of this world. The staff could not have been more welcoming and generous. Breakfast was very good...

“We had room 20 on the ground floor with sliding doors out on to a private terrace with views of the garden... The room was huge and a total pleasure.”

“The rooms all face the garden but the first floor is good because sitting on the balcony you are at tree level and can see and hear the birds. Spring is a particularly good time for the blossom.”
