This place was ok for our two nights whilst visiting Petra. The hotel fixtures and fittings were a bit tired. The breakfast is a bit strange (a little bit of a hodge podge of everything - but nothing that great). Bed very comfortable. Staff very nice and helpful. Note however that it's very close to a mosque which during the... More

We stayed at this hotel for 2 nights. Compared to the other hotels where we stayed during our holiday in Jordan, we consider this hotel to be below the standard. Breakfast options are more or less OK but the quality of the food is rather on the poor side. Staff is friendly and helpful. Our room felt very hot, even... More

I stayed 1 night here on a tour. It's really only a basic hotel which is dated and manned by Filipinos. No complaints, the reception and restaurant staff are polite and friendly. It's a decent place to stay if you're on a budget and just need a simple room for the night.

This hotel was in a great location and the staff are all lovely, but it just left me feeling disappointed from the moment I arrived to moment I left. Firstly, it desperately needs some tighter management and a huge cash injection. It feels dated and needs a serious refurbishment. The rooms are very, I mean very small, with virtually no... More

Even though I have to say that the personnel is quite good and they treat you nice, the hotel is not. It doesn't shine for its cleanliness and our rooms were never made, the bathroom was not the nicest one, it's old and needs a repair, all the lights in the room didn't work, there was no place to plug... We stayed here for 2 nights. The room was small but adequate. It must have been a lovely hotel in its day. The public areas were good and the outside eating and sitting space was nice. We had an evening meal here and this was excellent - lots of locals which is a good indication. The staff were pleasant and... More

The rate on this hotel was comparably low to the others in town but you are a good distance from Petra. They have a shuttle that will take you but at set times in the morning as well as for the pickup in the afternoon. The driver never showed up for me in the afternoon but you would want to... More

Read good reviews in here and guide book. However, my own personal experience not as good. Receptionist very helpful, cheerful and welcoming. Room air con is very old so only spread cold air to the tv, fridge area. Fridge did not work. Made them aware of it 5 pm but technician did not come to check problem before 10.00 pm.... More

The hotel is about 10 minutes away from Petra gate but its totally worth it!! I saw the hotels that were just by Petra gate and they were not forth coming. . Unless you have money to spare to pay a 5 star hotel, but I don't see the point of that because at Amra Palace I promise you its... More

The hotel is rather far from the main entrance to the Petra archeological site but is rather cheap with everything for a one-night stay. There is also a small swimming pool which is nice as a refresher after a day visit in Petra. The food and drinks are rather minimla but ok.
