Overlooking the city of Wadi Musa is this hilltop hotel. Staff were friendly and welcoming, upgrading us to a larger room with a balcony on arrival. Rooms. A rooftop pool is a great way to cool off after a long day walking around a the city of Petra. Continental breakfast offered in the morning. Walked downhill to the entrance of...

Thanks for making our visit an amazing experience. Seven wonder's is a great place to stay. Reception staff was always eager to make our stay as pleasant as possible. Although we've never met personally, Makhled arranged everything for us. A very special thanks to yaseen (driver) who made our trip very enjoyable and took very good care of us. He...

This is a lovely hotel on the hill overlooking Wadi Musa, we stayed here for 4 nights in March 2017 and found the hotel welcoming and friendly. There were one or two small problems with our room on our arrival but these were quickly and efficiently dealt with by Mikhled whose customer care and spoken English is fantastic. Breakfast is...

Smoking is allowed in the lobby and restaurant so those areas are unpleasant to sit (and eat). Shower's hot water never worked when we needed it: late afternoon or evening. Room was medium-sized. Breakfast waiter barked at us where to sit/not sit—there was no system only his imagination. Convenience store is nearby for snacks and drinking water. Taxis charge a...

We were 4 people and had a suite, made of 2 rooms. One was quite small and a bit dark, but the second was really large and the sofa's were great. We were there in the winter and had problem with the hot water, but the staff was really helpful and they quickly solved the problem. Mikhled was particularly nice...

We only had one night in Petra and arrived in town with little time to spare if we wanted to see the sunset. We checked in quickly and were preparing to stumble our way to a good viewing location when the front desk suggested that one of the employees could quickly show us the way. Rather than follow his car,...

Hotel was very nice; staff went out of their way to be helpful. Quickly changed our rooms when we realized we had asked for the wrong kind of beds. Offered help with guides for Petra. When we said we were going to see the sunset from our balcony we were offered a drive up the hill to a better spot...

I stayed here for 2 nights as part of a tour group. The hotel is relatively new and everything was clean looking and did not smell of smoke like many hotels in Jordan. The property is within walking distance to town where there are lots of eateries. It is also only 5 minutes by car to the entrance of Petra...

If you are looking for a basic hotel when visiting Petra, this is one of the better 3 star choices. It is down the hill to the main gate but walking distance to town for the restaurants. Cleanish and a simple breakfast available.

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Welcome to the Seven Wonders Hotel / Petra situated with dramatic views over the town and valley of Wadi Moussa, which houses the ancient city of Petra, now one of the new 7 Wonders of the World. We are a newly built 4* hotel with super-added facilities of a rooftop swimming pool and terrace, and what we believe is the best fitted Turkish Baths suite in Jordan. The hotel is well situated at the upper end of the scenic Wadi Moussa valley and town. It is a short walk from the town center and souk. Although the area generally is hilly, some of the roads being quite steep, the walk from the hotel to the upper part of the town is almost flat and can be undertaken by most reasonably fit people. We are easy to locate, a short drive in on the main access roads from Shawbak and Ma'an, on the right hand side, near to the Police Station. The principle part of the town, and the Petra ancient ruin, is on the same road below us continuing through the valley. Our aim at the hotel is to provide you with a happy experience of Arabia within a comfortable family orientated setting. To this end, we regret we cannot accommodate pets, nor do we serve alcohol inside the hotel, although it is available elsewhere in the town. The building which was completed in 2012 is of a tower design with lift and stairs The lift means it is suitable for elderly and slightly less able bodied guests. We regret bathroom facilities are not adapted for wheelchairs, nor for walking appliances, due to lack of floor space. ... more   less
