Al Rashid is situated about 3km up the hill from the entrance to the Petra complex in the town centre of Wadi Mousa. The price of the accommodation was quite reasonable and the morning breakfast, though not a buffet in the classic sense, was plentiful. The hotel seemed tired and worn down, while the hotel staff seemed to be in...

This hotel is 2-3 JD ride from gates of Petra, in a cute little square so you have about 3 restaurant options. I'd suggest getting to Petra the night before you want to visit the site so you can start your Petra day early, before all the tour busses come in. The hotel is decent, some plumbing issues but no...

Very good hotel with clean rooms, amazing breakfast (approximately 8 different small dishes) and very nice people. WLAN is good, service is great and one walks to Petra within 10 minutes. Restaurants are directly nearby. I can absolutely recommend this!

We stayed 1 night at Al Rashid, arriving quite late at night and leaving in the morning to explore Petra. It was nothing fancy, but served its purpose by giving us a comfortable, clean place to spend the night. The staff was helpful and friendly, and breakfast was pretty good though simple. Wifi did not work in our room, so...

Laith and the team at the hotel were fantastic. Laith gave me all the detailed advice I needed to visit Petra and helped me choose my Wadi Rum camping excursion. I stayed three nights and worked in the lobby in the evenings. They were kind enough to bring me my favorite drink each night, arrange for my early breakfasts and...

This is a budget hotel and worth it for the price but two nights would be all I could ever handle. There are no screens on the windows and the rooms are not the best smelling after a day out. If you are here to sleep it is fine. I only noticed the smell after being out all day but...

We stayed here for two nights either side of our trip to Petra and it was great. The staff were very friendly and made us feel at home. There is boiling water you can use throughout your stay to make hot drinks which was lovely. There are two parts of the town and I recommend staying away from Petra as...

The hotel rooms are clean, staff are friendly with almost everything in you approach be it restaurant, pharmacy. Breakfast is very very basic, but you can certainly ask for the choice of egg. Staff will be happy to serve you the same.
