We went to Little Petra at the end of the day from 16:30 to 17:30 The light over the monuments and caves was very nice. The site is small, quiet and already impressive even if very smaller than the big real Petra. We went with a taxi and the landscape on the way was also wonderful.

We didn't stay overnight here as we were staying in Wadi Musa, but had arranged for a meal in a bedouin cave at the site. At night, lit up with lights in the surrounding rocks, it's an absolutely magical place, and the meal was excellent as well. Tip: you can bring your own wine.

I haven't stayed here, but we went out there for a dinner and dance party with about 400 teenagers on a school trip (we completely booked out the place I think). The view as we arrived was stunning with the hills all lit by twinkling lights and you are entering through the rocks. I cant speak highly enough of the...

we stayed at Little Petra Bedouin Camp for two fantastic nights; nothing was too much trouble for the staff who were extremely welcoming and accommodating. The campsite was clean and homely, while the food was excellent (so much so we decided to have dinner there both nights ). said took us on a thoroughly spectacular walk to the Monastery which...

We stayed at the Bedouin camp during February half term. We were made to feel really welcome, food was provided upon request and endless cups of ginger tea! We were also given lifts to Petra and back by the owner which was a bonus. The accommodation was basic, as you would expect...little huts with camp beds. The toilet block and...

We arrived at night and the first thing we noticed was the spectacular lights dotted around the adjacent hills which easily numbered in their hundreds and would've taken a lot of effort to put up. The food was very good for dinner and there was plenty of tea which was great, but only if you like it very sweet, which...

My friend had stayed here several times before and was very excited to take me there as well. It was absolutely wonderful (though it can get quite cold at night). Beautiful place, lots of tea, delicious food, fire at night with interesting people. My only regret is not staying longer so I could explore the area and hang out more....

We stayed for one night in this camp in the Cave Room (which we couldn't recommend enough) and also had dinner there on two other nights. The camp is stunning, surrounded my amazing rock formations which are lit up at night, and the staff are brilliant. The manager, Anas, is particularly good - flawless English and really friendly and knowledgeable...

I've had 2 visits to the camp now, about 12 months apart, one in August 2012 and one in August 2013. On the first they were just undergoing some changes in terms of bringing in a new manager who has really made a difference since being in charge. Great atmosphere, surrounded by it's own natural rock "amphitheater" , amazing Bedouin...

The camp was great the food was good and the manager Anas was super helpful speaks perfect English and and willing to help in anyway he could. Only issue is the hot water only works at night when the power is turned on so no showers during the day. Otherwise a perfect experience.
