We stayed two nights at the Rock Camp and had dinner both nights. Night one, we were joined by three others, and night two we were the only couple at the camp. We were outnumbered by staff! The food and the company was fantastic, albeit a bit cold due to the cold weather. I had to wear my stocking cap...

Staying a night at the Rock Camp was the highlight of our trip to Jordan (and much better than another desert camp we stayed at). In a picturesque desert setting near Petra, it consists of a group of tents with a hidden bathroom block. The camp is fairly small and quiet, giving an authentic feel of being in the landscape...

This was not a tourist rip-off. People were charming; food was very good. Location was delightful. I have no more to say, but the review needs to be 200 characters so I shall just carry on until I get there..................... Jordan also needs tourism and is a lovely, safe country.

The camp was picked for us by a tour company Desert Eco Tours (thanks) as a place to spend a night between visiting Petra and Wadi Rum. Wonderful place, extremely polite personnel, fantastic food, unbelievable atmosphere, spacious tents, comfortable beds. Contrary to what I've heard about beduin camps in Jordan, they do have electricity (though not all the time), shower...

I stayed for 2 nights with my husband in October and we had a great experience. The luxury tents are lovely, with proper beds and cushions and a light inside, as well as a lantern. We had breakfast around the fire and at dinner time, they cooked a feast: we had roast lamb with vegetables and different salads and side...

The bedouin meal was the best I had. They did there practice of hena drawing and charcoal eyebrows on guest who were game. it was fun and got the diverse groups into party and relaxed atmosphere. All talking to strangers and laughing. The food was cooked in charcoal fire under bin dug into the ground and cooked for many hors....

I spent 2 nights at the Rock Camp in October 2012, and loved it. The luxury tents are fantastic and well-equipped with comfortable beds and plenty of blankets for the increasingly cold nights. There's a generator from 18.00 - 23.00 and 06.00 - 09.00, with a light in the tent (and a battery operated lantern for other times) as well...

I cannot recommend this place highly enough. I brought a large group to stay in October 2012 and Hala was extremely helpful at every stage of the process, even organising onward travel for us, and reuniting a lost phone with its owner! We arrived just as the sun was setting and were immediately directed to the best place to see...

My husband and I only stayed one night in a Luxury tent. I cannot fault anything, as it was truly an amazing experience and very authentic. Ismail and Mahmoud really made our experience one to remember. The food was delicious and fresh. The Rock camp was very easy to find and so much better than staying in the expensive hotels...

I got in love the camp when I saw their site but it was even better when we arrived. The staff was very helpful and nice. Since the camp is a little far from Wadi Musa, you are in teh middle of the dessert and you could enjoy the silence and beatiful night sky. The food was delicious (buffet) and...
