Dated hotel that takes all the credit for being right next to the entrance to the historic site. We arrived for one-night oversleep, were made able to unpack before official check-in time, got a welcome drink. So far, so good. Even though we got upgraded to Chalet, the room was just 15-20 years old, where especially the bathroom was not...

My wife and I finally got to visit Petra and chose the Petra Guest House based on it's proximity to the entrance. The hotel was a bit more expensive than other properties in the area, but the pictures and the fact that it was sitting right at the entrance won the day. Upon arrival a bellman came to the car...

This hotel is overpriced, the only good thing is the location. Breakfast menu is standard, the staff are far from friendly, free upgrade to suite room, quite spacious but the room is pretty old. We encountered some weird experience in Petra Guest House where we stayed 2 nights, on 2nd day, the housekeeper changed our empty mineral water bottles to...

We stayed here two nights and the location can't be beat, as you are at the entrance to the park, so no lines! The room was large and comfortable, with a huge bed. We would have loved better pillows. Breakfast was included, and the quality and variety was excellent. Dinner, on the other hand, was mediocre at best. The feta...

The Petra Guesthouse couldn't be better placed for a visit to the wonderful ruins of Petra - it is right at the gate and adjacent to the Petra Museum. The part of the hotel where we stayed has rooms built into the hillside at several different levels and accessed via a network of paths and steps. It's very quaint and...

We stayed here for 2 nights, and our stay was perfect! The hotel itself is located right at the entrance to Petra, and there are nice gift shops right outside. We were given a Mountain Chalet room (former honeymoon suite) which had more space, and its own terrace. The morning breakfast buffet (included in the room rate) had European, Arabic...

We stayed one night in Petra Guesthouse. We had a large room overlooking Wadi Musa. We had a table and chairs outside, and we enjoyed sitting on our patio watching the sunset. The room was clean, the hotel beautiful and interesting, the breakfast okay. The service was top-notch, and the location could not have been any better than it was....

We were booked into this hotel by out travel agent, and it has the best location. Right next to the entrance to the ancient city. Which is a great thing because after the long uphill climb after a long day visiting the ancient city, it is really good to not climb more to get to the hotel. We visited during...

Can't find the words to express my amazement at this historical site. At every turn there is something that makes you stop and exclaim "wow". We spent 5 hours at the site and only saw a fraction of it. You can walk down to the main square, which is a distance of 6 kg or take a horse, donkey or...

The Petra Guesthouse is right at the entrance to Petra. You literally walk out the front gate into the entrance to Petra. So it can't be beaten for location. The staff are great and super friendly. They are very helpful with any questions you might have and make sure your stay is smooth. The chalet rooms offer a lot of...
