We stayed at the hotel for one night and enjoyed our stay, The hotel is in the middle of the town and has a number of restaurants nearby. We had already booked our dinner and breakfast at the hotel. The hotel food was quite good and there was a variety. The rooms are quite

The rooms are nice and clean, comfortable beds, good bathroms. Location is very good, near hotel there are few restaurants and shops. Breakfast was really good, good choices of tasty food. Stuff was unfriendly and rude (not all of them) and wi fi connection wasn't ok all time.

The hotel "supposedly" offers free shuttle buses to and from the hotel to the Petra entrance. My friend and I purchased Petra by Night tickets from the hotel and the driver dropped us off at the entrance at 8pm and promised to pick everybody up around 10:30pm. After the show, we

It costs approx 80 Jordanian Dinar (about 110 USD) with the taxis out the front of the airport to get from Amman to the hotel. The rate is pretty much a standard rate and you cant really bargain. There were buses you could take but we were time limited and split the cost between the 2 of us which helped!

We found the hotel owner Mahmoud to be very helpful arranging transfers around Jordan. You can email them here: info (at) sharahmountains (dot)

Agree with Joop V, stay in Madaba and then travel to Petra next day. Also if you're taking a taxi to Madaba ... suggest walking out of the airport and walking to the Taxi Booth outside for fixed price taxis. There is a counter inside the airport, which also offers transportation, but is much more expensive.
