Realy great place to be, maybe the best and as far as we experienced the only place to rest with a good standard for western clientel. What makes this place extraordinary are the nearby attractions, a wonderfully blue lagooon, old ruins and an ancient chulpa. The manager and owner Charlie was always friendly and helpfull to us. He had to...

Thank you so much Andri for taking the time to leave your review. Yes it has not been an easy year since Tripadvisor suddenly removed us from the Huaraz area listing after 5 years, without even telling us. Strange as the Huaraz area is where we quickly shot to 1st place in their hotel category, clearly our clients were happy....

We just got back from a 2 day visit from Charlie's casa better known as Llanganuco Mountain Lodge. This place is fantastic! When we arrived to the anta airport Charlie arranged for a taxi to pick us up. The ride to the lodge was approx 1 1/2 hours through towns and farming villages. Once we arrived at the lodge Charlie...

My partner and I spent four days at LML on 25 October. We had a great time at Charlie's place. The room where we stayed was large and comfortable and had the most outstanding views over the valley and Huascaran and Huandoy peaks. Due to its location at the doorstep of the Huascaran National Park, all the significant local attractions...

My boyfriend and I stayed for 3 nights at Llanganuco Mountain Lodge. Our base location – in the middle of nature – from where we did all of our hikes. Let us be clear: this stay was the highlight of our vacation! Why? Three reasons! First, the day treks bring you to dreamy locations, breathtaking nature of indescribable beauty. The...

We liked staying at this mountain lodge.Charlie, the owner, is a vivacious, helpful host. If ya have a question or a dozen, you'll get no BS answers. The views are spectacular, even if there are clouds in the sky. Guides and taxi services are a breeze. The beds and linens are really comfortable, king size. Food was pretty good. Meals...

Charlie and his team at the Llanganuco mountain lodge can not be praised highly enough. The experience they provide is by far the best in the area. No where else can you find such a great central location to the Huascaran National Park and all its beauty. My husband and I stayed there for 3 days during our honeymoon and...

I feel so lucky to have serendipitously discovered the Llanganuco Mountain Lodge while in Peru. I had done a ton of research prior to my trip, but unfortunately TripAdvisor doesn't list this gem as part of Huaraz, even though the only reason you stay in Huaraz is to get to the mountains that the Lodge is nestled in. I spent...

We really enjoyed our stay here! While this place isn't exactly a luxury resort, I doubt there's a more luxurious way to stay within walking distance from the incredible Huascaran National Park. Charlie, the owner, runs a fantastic experience and will arrange every detail from taxis to trekking poles for your hikes around the mountains. Our room had a awesome...

This place is awesome. It's hard to go there and you must pay attention with the altitude, but the result is fantastic. Great views, mountains and no contact with internet. It's so quiet and comfortable.
