Very nice place to stay in if you are looking for a quiet place to enjoy your vacation. The staffs are very helpful, friendly, supportive, rooms are clean, food is also good. The place is surrounded by rice field, in morning you can hear the birds. I spent a very nice and relaxed holiday in this place.
Saren Indah Hotel is a very nice and quiet hotel. Very clean and good rooms! It has very good accadoamics and also the pool is very good. The only drawback was the food in te evening. Sometimes the food was not tastefull and expensive!
Only here for a couple of nights before moving down to Kuta, can't complain about anything (other than shower pressure but no real drama). Rooms were clean, great views, nice staff and free shuttles into Ubud centre. Nice restaurants in walking distance. 2 minute walk to Monkey Forest entrance! 2 adults and 4 kids.
On another return visit this hotal just continues to amaze. Although it is ageing there is constant maintenance - consequently it continues to be well presented. Well trained staff, well serviced rooms, delightful padi fields surrounding the hotel. The swimming pool area is always kept spotless and the pool is always a welcome respite from the heat. The restaurant was a constant delight with well presented food; in fact, we had most of our meals here. The standard is even better than previous visits. The spa is always keenly awaited and all treatments were much appreciated. It is possible to get cheaper massages etc in Ubud but why not enjoyd what is to on offer without leaving the hotel! The attraction of this hotel is the heart inwhich all is presented. Thank you Ary, Wayan and family for giving so much yourselves.…
This is the second time I’ve stayed here This time with family Short walk past monkey Forrest to ubud town Lots to see & experience along the way Great staff Good price Good food Good location Will stay again
I am writing this review just before the night before checkout. Stayed here for 3 nights. The only regret is I should have stayed for more days! Staff is extremely friendly and polite. Always greet you with smile! Ambiance is amazing. Pool is nice. Food is mouth watering. Breakfast has huge variety - eggs, beacon, sausages, eggs, breads, juices and local delicacies. My leg was twisted on the day of check-in. The staff was kind enough to allot a room on ground floor. Delivered ice packs every morning and evening, without any charges. When the staff came to know that we are gonna celebrate our first anniversary, they offered a nice cake, decorated room and bath tub with flowers. This is one stop service for relaxing massage, cab booking and rental bikes at market rates. In short, the place is better than the expectations. Would love to visit again!…
We booked this hotel for our winter holiday getaway and thoroughly enjoyed our experience. Here are my comments on the following areas: - Location: This hotel is located right behind the Monkey Forest, so it’s quite far from the hustle and bustle of the main town. For us, it was the perfect, quiet getaway. Our room overlooked some rice paddy fields, which were always filled with ducks. Sometimes, we’d see monkeys running through the fields. The hotel also provides a free shuttle service into the main area of town, which we also found to be very convenient. Service: For a much smaller hotel, they provided excellent customer service. The girls at the reception desk spoke excellent English and helped us make reservations for tours. - Restaurant/Daily Breakfast Buffet: The hotel provides an adequate breakfast buffet that includes a variety of western and local options. If you’re looking for bacon or sausage, you need to ask the staff directly and they’ll make a special serving just for you and your party. - Laundry: Since my husband and I started traveling internationally, we’ve committed to traveling with just carry-ons. While we enjoy the convenience of avoiding long lines at the airport, the trade-off is that we’re dependent on laundry services to get us through our travels. On our last full day, I dropped off our laundry at the front desk before 8 a.m. The receptionist said they would send it out for service, and it would be delivered to our room between 8:30 p.m. and 9 p.m. that evening. When nothing arrived by 9 p.m., I called the front desk. They apologized and promised the send up our laundry in 15 minutes. I waited about 20 minutes and nothing happened. I called again, and was then told that they were still working on it and it would be delivered soon. Another 20 minutes went by, and still nothing. I called again, and was then told by the front desk that our laundry would not be ready until the next morning. I told them this was unacceptable since we were checking out early the following morning. At that point, my husband and I walked down to the front desk to speak with the receptionist face to face. She assured us that the laundry would arrive in 15 minutes, and she would send it to our room. Rather than walking back, my husband decided to wait at the front desk. I asked her what caused the delay, and she said that the laundry service had experienced problems with their machines that day. When our laundry finally arrived, my husband refused to pay for the service after all of the trouble we experienced. The receptionist was shocked, but she didn’t argue back. - In-room safe: Unfortunately, this hotel does not provide safes inside of their rooms. However, they do provide safety deposit boxes at the front desk, which is where we stored our passports. Thank goodness the receptionist was on it, and remembered to pull our passports for us when we checked out on our last day. All in all, we had a great experience here, and I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone who is thinking of staying in a quieter area of Ubud. However, don’t use this hotel for their laundry service.…
Wonderful view, quiet place to enjoy nature and away from the hustle of Ubud, yet close enough to get back to the busy life whenever needed. The rooms are nice, clean and the staffs are super helpful and nicely behaved. Breakfast is very basic but fresh. if you are a nature lover, i highly recommend this place for you to enjoy yourself.
4th time at Saren Indah. Locally owned Balinese hotel. Lovely family..15 rooms. 3 star hotel with 5 star service. Rooms are immaculate, breakfast good, location is fantastic for those who don’t want to be in central Ubud. Staff goes above and beyond.
We were expecting to stay 4 nights, but ended up extending our stay by a couple more nights because we really enjoyed staying at Saren Indah Hotel. The facility is centrally located in Ubud and the staff made us feel like family members. Our 4-year old daughter really enjoyed the pool. We were overall beyond pleased with everything but especially with the staff whom we will greatly miss. Definitely not our last time here!
