Located on an secluded island in the national park, this place was amazing! Don't go here if you're expecting to be pampered in luxury. Do go here if you want a beach to yourself, beautiful views, a chance to hike in an island jungle. Powered with a generator and solar, there's electricity from about 8 am until 10 pm, more...

I wish I had taken the reviews written about this resort more seriously. I really wanted to love this place so much, but from the moment we arrived the dogs were a problem. Why own a resort if you have dogs that hate people? Especially, as we were told upon arrival, Cambodians? WTF? We had the dogs barking when we...

Good simple bungalows, with large terrasse and hamocks . the bar/dining room area is very pleasant, but I don't like the dog pack welcome . I was definitely not impressed by the food that I found too much tourist oriented ( That means Bland ) the beach is not specially great, but the general quietness of the place made my...

Wonderful location on an unspoiled tropical Island, 1 hour by boat from the mainland. The sounds of nature only disturbed by the constant noise of fishing boat engines. Bungalows were a good size and rustic but perfectly nestled under the shade of trees between the jungle and the sea. Wonderful beach and safe swimming Limited walking on barely maintained forest...

We spent three nights on Koh Thmei with Kavita and Michael. When contacted via e-mail, Michael was very helpful with the travel arrangements. We chose to take a taxi from Sihanoukville (25$), followed by the boat (7.50$ per person). Everything was well organised and we arrived safely on the island. The bungalows are very basic but with running (cold) water....

We stayed in a family bungalow which comfortably fitted a family of 5. The amenities are basic and it was pretty hot, but the total exclusion and beautiful surroundings were just what we wanted. Our children loved the 'camping' feel and spent hours exploring the beaches and jungle. The staff, most of whom are volunteers, were very helpful and friendly....

We liked the bungalows and the restaurant. You have a huge mosquito net around your bed to protect you from the numerous insects. Two hammocks and chairs on the balcony and huge beach chairs to relax in the sun. The shower is cold water only. Unfortunately the water from tap and shower was really salty because of a long dry...

Really basic bungalows with less comfort and facilities. The food was good but expensive. Unfortunetaly, the management would not provide any possibility to store own drinks in the fridge. Overall, the management did not seem to be keen on helping. For the guests staying the internet was not available. Getting there and back costs 7,5USD per person per way (15...

I guess I viewed our upcoming stay here with rose tinted glasses!! A 3 night stay on an idyllic island within a national park had to be wonderful - hadn't it??? I should have studied the reviews in more details and understood the ramifications of occupying what was little more than a shed in more detail. There were absolutely no...

Lonely Planet describes this place as being 'hard to reach'. 30 minutes in a taxi from the airport, and then a one hour boat ride on the resort's own boat. We arrived at night which made the journey seem quite exciting with the spray splashing our faces, however the journey is well worth it. We were met by a group...

“Our bungalow was right beside the restaurant, so it was slightly louder at certain points, but never anything too crazy. If you want it to be super quiet, see if you can get one of the bungalows father down the beach”
