Being on a month long road trip cost and cleanliness were our main concern. The Village Inn managed both of those. Check in went smooth the room was large, functional and very clean. The location was perfect for our needs. The onsite restaurant served good food and it was nice to check in and lock up the car and not...

Crossed this country back and forth staying in motels and this was by far the best one I encountered on my way. Great room: so spacious, clean, well decorated and well appointed with everything you need. Bathroom looked new. Bed and mattress were so comfortable. Great location: just a little over an hour drive from Sault-Sainte-Marie, directly on Highway 17...

This was my favourite motel. Owners were renovating while we stayed there and hope to see the finish in the near future. Room was immaculate. Beds were comfortable. Bathroom was clean and roomy. Reasonably priced. It was like staying in a chain hotel.

After driving from Sault Ste Marie to find a bed to sleep in... We were very happy to find the Village Inn. The owners took pity on is and gave us a deal on his last room. They were very clean rooms with very hard beds. No AC either, but ample fans provided.

We've stopped at the Village Inn a couple of times on trips across northern Ontario and found the owners/managers to be be very welcoming and helpful. The rooms and the beds and sheets - well, everything is fresh and clean. As a bonus it is definitely cheaper than anything comparable in the Soo.

Stopped here on our way from Thunder Bay to Niagara Falls as it was right on #17E. Called the morning we left TB to get a reservation, when we arrived he lady in charge couldn't find our reservation....very old school looking through a notebook to find where she wrote us down. No worries as there were no other cars there...

Stayed at the Village Inn a few years back and when we called to book, we were told that the carpets had all been pulled and replaced by hardwood floors. Guess what? It's all carpeted still. Everything. I wouldn't have minded the carpet if we hadn't been blatantly lied to about it. The fellow running it was friendly and helpful...

I was planning to spend the night a bit further down the road in Blind River, but as I passed this motel in Iron Bridge, I thought I would take a chance. I am so glad I did. This is a family run motel, that is obviously well looked after. I was warmly greeted by the couple. After some small...

Stayed here one night on our way through. Great little motel. Staff are excellent - friendly and helpful. The room was a bit dated, but very clean and comfortable. A perfect place to get a good sleep for a good price.

We booked a group of rooms for the Iron Bridge Music Festival. The rooms were clean and nice. Nothing fancy, but clean is more important. We had fridge, microwave air conditioning and coffee makers and if anything was missing the owners were quick to fix it. They both work very hard and do all the servicing themselves. Wonderful people- we...

“The motel has two sections - a newer one near the registration desk and the older section further to the west.”

“I am not certain; but I believe the corridor to the roomsis on the front, facing the highway. The rooms are facing away from the highway and the road noise. So any room should be a good one.”

“There is a interior hallway providing a buffer between your room door and the outside (all windows) so there is no highway sounds in your room but you still get full sunlight (and protection from bad weather too).”
