We planned our trip to solang valley resorts after much deliberation- since i was traveling with my family for the first time since Covid, i wanted a place that would suit my requirements in terms of following covid protocols. At Solang Valley they ensured that out check in was done in the lawns so as to avoid closed spaces- Our room was ready and already sanitised before we arrived. The staff wears masks at all times and sanitisers were available at all points of entrances. All tables at their restaurants were distanced properly and for a special request they even sent the buffet food to out room. We are so glad we chose this hotel for out stay. The location is absolutely phenomenal! The rooms are plush and so well maintained. Hats off to the chef Mr. Vikram. The rainbow trout , the mutton rogan josh were just some of the things we will remember. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

We travelled with a couple of friends to Solang Valley resort in Sept and our stay was phenomenal. Everything from the time we booked to the time we reached back to Delhi was well taken care of. Ms. Anita got us swiftly through the booking process and offered us a great deal on the stay. She also went out of the way to suggest a very good driver, who took good care of us through the trip. The hotel staff was also very caring and took good care of our needs, special thanks to Mr. Nilesh (hotel manager). To mention the least, the staff had good sanitary habits and practiced all required sanitization drills to keep us safe in corona times. We preferred to stay at this property coz it’s placed between nature so well that your can thoroughly enjoy the mountains and river from within. It’s a must stay for nature lovers. The gardens are also well curated and taken care off, the apple trees looked beautiful with laden fruits. It was overall an exceptional stay.

Before travelling to Manali, I did lot of research and shortlisted this one as one of the top three resorts in or around Manali. Location wise it meets expectations. Its location is in the middle of mountains and there is Beas rived right through the hotel. It has big lawn. All these aspects are just too good. However, the overall hotel can be more cleaner.
About the rooms, I will not rate it so high considering the price. The bed was comfortable, but they provided electric heating everywhere, which is not very comfortable. I was expecting central heating option. The shower room needs small change and it will really improve tourist satisfaction: the toilet flush is too hard, the shower is like strong jet. Hot water stopped suddenly while taking shower. And they provided two small water bottles. Any ordinary hotel provides at least two liters of water.
Food was excellent though, with plenty of options. Chicken & Mutton was in the menu everyday.

I had paid for a room in prime location and paid 22k for that. The check in time was 12pm but I reached with my newly wed at 4pm. Even then we had to wait an hour for getting a room. The shock came when they told us that our room is in another location and upon reaching there we were given a very very cheap room with terrible sanitary conditions!! I drove 12 hours one way to spend time with my wife, but now I am having to go from one hotel to another to look for a decent property nearby!!
NEVER book a room here based on the reviews, you will always be up for bad surprise when visiting this so-called "Resort"!

My wife and I chose Solang Valley Resort for celebrating our first anniversary. Anita was prompt, courteous and helpful with the entire booking process. The resort itself is very well managed and clean and all safety & sanitation protocols are followed considering the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic situation in Himachal. It snowed a couple of days before we arrived and the place looked magical. The location is excellent and the views of snow capped peaks from the Presidential Suite are amazing! The manager, Rupendra, was attentive and made sure our stay was comfortable. The candle light dinner on our anniversary organized inside the warm Malana Bar was super special. The food, especially North Indian food, is delicious. They even provided Pure Jain food on request. Sadeep’s singing was a delight and the resort staff including Anup Sharma were extremely helpful and made our stay comfortable. All in all, the stay at Solang Valley Resort made our anniversary memorable and we would highly recommend stay at the resort. We would definitely love to visit again someday during the summers.

We despite paying 20k deposit before checkin, at 10pm after a long drive from Delhi to Manali, were told to pay entire amount before we get to even get the keys. Manager insisted that owner only believes in this way despite having two families there with young kids and one more coming next day. Further, the calculation for the overall total was incorrect and manager didnt agree and after a heated debate between owner and my wife, it got settled.
That losses us lot of credit for the property - she can tell that the entire money will need to be upfront at the time of booking.
Staff was doing the best to provide hospitality despite being clearly overworked for the full load they had.
Christmas gala dinner was nice despite being in really cold open and must say, they were doing their best.
Food in breakfast buffet was very average and had even caused stomach upset for some of us. hygiene was lacking due to overcrowding
Rooms - presidential suite was nice, but two other rooms which we took were good but had bad smell, which was not getting rectified.
Overall, property is ok but gets overrated and overhyped as some central ministers stayed here a few months before we did.
Unlikely we will stay again here esp given owner's behaviour. the head manager was really good and very courtous. So no complaints from him or staff in general.

Had a wonderful stay at this Resort just at the bottom of the mountain foot. The location is extremely picturesque and very close to solong Valley where all the activities are carried out(walking 30 mins) Rooms are very spacious and have all the required amenities.They have a cooperative staff who is very responsive and helpful. Food is extremely delicious at the Resort and they provide a good spread across various cuisine. Would love to visit back.

This property has a mind blowing location that offers the most gorgeous views. It is away from the hustle bustle of Manali, in the middle of the valley, just 30 mins before Atal tunnel. Their in house entertainment team of singers and musicians is top notch. There are lots of activities, swings and open area for the kids to run and play. The Gazebo restaurant serves world class Italian food, best enjoyed in their lush green lawns during the day. 10 points for the amazing hospitality and service and a special mention for the most amazing host/owner, Anita aunty, for going the extra mile in organizing and planning each evening for her guests so thoughtfully. Their riverside candle light dinner with live musicians is not to be missed ! We visited in March so their weeping willows and cherry blossom trees were in full bloom. Phone cameras cannot capture the beautiful landscape this property is set amidst ! Must must visit if you're looking to spend some time away in peace and calmness.

Stayed in the presidential suite facing the glacier and the valley, the breathtaking view at the comfort of a warm and luxurious expanse of the property is surely unbeatable. This, added with great hospitality and sumptuous food makes the stay worth every penny spent. Don't miss the food from Gazebo- Italian delicacies at its best, the Chef is beyond excellence!! Anita, is an excellent host and takes care of all the nitty-gritties that sometimes people do miss but these small little gestures makes a deep impression- of love and warmth!! It was our first snowfall beside the river Beas, and this along with every moment spent at the property will stay with us forever!!

This resort is the best place to stay if you are planning to visit Manali in winters. The location is ideal whether you want to do snow sports at Solang Valley or if you are planning to go ahead beyond Atal tunnel. They have ample space for various activities like playground for kids and evening gathering for bonfire. The overall services of the facility is also commendable. We enjoyed the view from our balcony and layers of snow in the front yard.

They have two kinds of rooms, one with valley view and other with river view rooms. I would suggest to go for the valley view. Amazing views out there.
And ofcoarse presidential suit is worth spending money.
