Let me start by saying, I have never written a review regarding a stay at any hotel, campground, motel, etc., but my experience here at the Diamond John's Riverside Retreat begged for a review. My family and another family stayed in the Grand Master teepee. Based on the description, it sounded like it would be right up our alley. We...

Our family travelled to Murfreeboro for spring break this March 2016. Our group (9 total- 2 families w children) found this place off the goglamping.net website. The photos on that site (and on TA) are completely misleading. What we expected was NOT what you got. BE WARNED... you stay her at your own risk... Health and limbs. We booked our...

As others have stated, this place has the potential to be amazing, if only the owners would take the time to better care for their investment. We stayed in the large TP, which is overridden with mold, wires lying on the ground, rain pools inside on the floor, and is just plain dirty and nasty! We pushed the beds to...

I stayed in the treehouse, It was fun and alot to do for outdoorsy type of people. OWNERS go out of their way to make you happy. Must use nice grills or run into town to grab a bite about 5 miles away. I had the best time taking my dog Chloe on her Big Adventure. A must for families...

Please be advised that this place is not all that it seems. I was woken up all night by cats fighting under the teepee. When you drive up to their residence, they meet you at the door and do not let you come in. The porch was full of cats and kittens. If you bring your pet, please know the...

This infested place should be shut down for extreme uncleanliness. Everything on site was a lie and thank God we are still alive. Her exposed electrical wires were scary as heck, not to mention the smoke alarm went off at 2:30 am.You could not sleep due to nasty old bedbug mattresses and springs that were shot. This bathroom had mold...

My wife and I stayed in the cabin with the hot tub. This is certainly worth the money and the five star rating. We have stayed at bonafide five star resorts in the past. This is more rustic than those, but was just what the doctor ordered for visiting the diamond mine, relaxing, and staying close to the river. The...

*WARNING* If you stay at Diamond John’s after reading this review, you deserve what you get!! Nasty, Run-down, Dilapidated, Moldy, Filthy, Disgusting! This place should be shut down! There are not enough words to explain how disturbing and disgusting this place is! Looks nothing like the pictures that are posted on the Web-Site! My family and I stayed in the...

Our family enjoyed our stay at Diamond John's! The cabin was comfortable, the owners are awesome and the flashlight gem hunt was amazing! It was a beautiful setting. The lake was fun, the canoes were fun and the peacocks were fascinating! They provided the tools for our diamond hunting adventure at the Diamond of Crater State Park. We highly recommend...

My boyfriend and I got in Friday afternoon and Diamond John greeted us and showed us to our teepee, which had a queen bed, full bed, satellite TV, AC, fridge and microwave. The bathrooms were just a short walk away, and were clean and pleasant. We enjoyed our time playing with kittens and ducks, canoeing, swimming, and relaxing by the...
