The room booked in advance was ready when we arrived mid-afternoon. A simple room with AC and private toilet is provided. Wifi was supposed available but does not exist.  Breakfast,  included in the 400'000 IDR, is just toasts and jam with one banana. A simple dinner can be ordered here or biscuits and beer found in a small shop close by.  The...

We stayed here one night. The room was nothing more than a bed and a chair. I had to ask for blankets. Food was okay but not special. The restaurant served beer and drinks, but was not very cosy. I think the owners could invest in some upgrading to make it a nice homestay again.

Airport pickup by Frank - great, on time and very friendly. Food - nice variety and large portions. Room - very basic, bedding clean but no top sheet on bed, shower ok but no sink, toilet broken but quickly mended by alfons. Guide provided - good, knew the forest well, friendly, a little english. This friendly homestay is located directly opposite the entrance to the Tangkoko Nature Reserve. The staff are very friendly and the owner super-helpful. It is about 2 hours from the airport in a small village so you really need your own transport here. The owner Alfonds kindly collected me from the airport. from my late-night flight, at a reasonable cost....

We stayed here for two nights and were very pleased with the service provided. Alfonds patiently answered all my questions before we arrived and came in person to meet us at the airport and took us to our next destination at the end of our stay. Our room was large with 2 big comfortable beds. The shower room/toilet lacks a...

Nice stuff, clean rooms and good ambience. The whole village is nice and relaxing. Easily I received all the informations I needed and they organised a good guide to the reserve. The food (included in the price) was good.

A very quite and peaceful homestay. Just in front of Tangkoko Batuangas Natural Reserve entrance. Alfons is a very nice guy, we could talk a lot with him, to the Indonesian real rural life. He knows all things about Tangkoko Batuangas and its animals. The rooms are very tidy and clean, with fan, a-con, towels and bedclothes. The food is...

We stayed one night at Mama Roos, which was ideal place to spot a large amount of interesting animals in the Tangkoko National Park. In the evening we went with two guides and were very lucky to spot not only the famous Tarsiers but also a family of Cuscus who were having dinner low in the threes (the guide said...
