After 30 hours on the Ferry Yaghan through the Chilean fjords seeing glaciers calving into Beagle Channel and amzing sunset we arrived at this gorgeous hotel. Wonderful room and stunning open plan bar/restaurant/salon. It was so quiet and peaceful - clean ar, horses grazing, inlet sparkling. Only downside is that it is a good 40 minute walk into Puerto Williams...

We greatly enjoyed our three day trip at the Lakutaia. After a long trip up and down Chile, this was just the laid back break we needed. An interesting journey in a tiny 16 seater airplane took us to this remote location. The hotel was excellent - it is well designed, attractive and comfortable with good, well presented food and...

If you are looking for an adventure out of the beaten track, with lots of breathtaking sceneries, Isla Navarino is the place to go. Here you have a good chance to do a great hike the whole day in total solitude, on well marked paths, and enough infra structure to give you the assistance you’ll need for transport etc. The...

It took a lot of effort to get here but it was worth it. The rooms were nice and clean and very comfortable. The slippers provided are hand made and now worn at home in England by my adult daughter! The whole place has the feel of a lodge and was very quiet. Plenty of quirky things to see ranging...

Lakutaia Hotel is ok, the rooms small, not too clean and very noisy, we were lucky to be the only ones there though. The food is average, don't expect anything fancy. The trips entirely depend on the weather, we couldn't go on the boat trip due to high waves on the Beagle Channel, but the day before had been perfect,...

This luxurious hotel is extremely remote however offers every luxury to make the stay amazing. The staff and guides were excellent with an ever present manager who made it a point to be sure everyone was enjoying themselves. Food was good too :) With so much to do there, as well as learn, you will want to stay longer. The...

We were picked up by the hotel arranged transit from Ushuaia airport to be taken to the dock - stung 250 pesos instead of about 50 for the trip so take care. I'm not sure if the driver of the transit and the girl at the dock were in cahoots but she then tried to stiff us for the cost...

My wife and I spent a week there. Initially we were worried that it would be too long, but this proved not to be the case. We were charmed by the hotel's comfort and extremely friendly and accommodating staff. This was both a perfect place to relax, and to use as a base for exploration of this unique island, still...
