Detailed Reviews
Sheer heaven only a 10 minute walk to downtown! A meadow, farmlike oasis with fascinating architecture. We were greeted by the owner Ruth who has put her exquisite while understated taste into every aspect of the Patagonia House property! If you appreciate the marriage of buildings created in harmony with land, this is the place for you. I have a love of buildings constructed with repurposed materials so I was in heaven. Our fishing waders had proper drying racks and the easy vibe of the property was a big plus. Breakfasts and dinners were totally beyond any expectations we might have had. Patagonia House exceeds the definition of “Boutique Hotel”!

+1
The Patagonia House takes comfort and hospitality to the next level. The owner goes out of her way to greet guests and to make sure you are happy during your stay. Food for both dinner and breakfast is amazing! Rooms were clean, spacious, and had every amenity we wanted. WiFi worked great. We like it so much here that we bookended our trip here, so we stayed twice in different room (all of which are unique). Highly recommend and we hope to stay here again soon.

Just thank you for our visit to Patagonia House: a true and happy discovery. The hotel has a beautiful architecture that respects the environment and allows views from different corners that are a luxury for the spirit. The pieces are very well thought out, with all the comforts and very tasteful decoration. Nothing is left over and nothing is missing that is needed. Excellent beds, very good heating, impeccable cleanliness, immaculate and very comfortable bathrooms invite you to rest and repose the spirit, which is what is sought in that beautiful region. We weren't able to take walks but we learned that some very interesting ones were offered, such as bird watching. I would like to highlight Sergio's attention in managing the reception, attentive to resolving any need, with a kindness and professionalism that makes the difference. The same can be said of the dining room staff. Borek has a memorable kitchen and is accompanied by the attention and smile of each person who works there. Starting and ending the southern highway at Patagonia House was the best decision. We have been lucky enough to travel a lot and this place is one of the best we have been to. Thanks for everything! More than recommending it, I would say that it is The place in Coyaique without a doubt.

Patagonia House has to be one of the best hotel experiences ever. Low key luxury hotel in a beautiful setting where Ruth, the proprietor, takes a personal interest in each and every guest and in each and every staff member. Prices are fair to begin, and when you leave, you’ll feel like you got an unbelievable bargain. The quality of service is as good as it gets. Food is outstanding and rooms are beautiful.

Top class. Food superb. Service fantastic. Lovely location away from any busy streets. Very quiet. Very nice rooms. Owner Ruth was very helpful and friendly.
One word of caution: we ordered the hot tub but were not advised of its cost ($145 USD). Yikes. It needed to be heated up to use for 4 hours prior to use. It was very nice, however, and Sergio brought us a Pisco Sour each. I would have ordered two had I known the cost! But the view from the tub was superb.
A great place which we would not hesitate to go back to.

Beautiful hotel with big great rooms in a quiet garden! A good breakfast buffet.
The only downside is that no hotel employee is wearing a protective mask, or any other kind of protection, during the Covid-19 pandemic. When confronted, the answer is that they are being tested and therefore do not need a protection (not even in the kitchen/buffet). The signs clearly state that the guests need to wear masks (as the whole country does), but not the employee. A little lack of respect towards the guest in our opinion.

I stayed here with friends, and we instantly felt at home. The highlights for me were the delicious breakfasts, comfortable beds, blackout curtains for catching up on sleep, and the hot tub, which cost extra. The staff accommodated requests and helped us coordinate the airport shuttle. I also enjoyed their gift shop, which had well-curated sweaters, keychains, gin, etc.

It has a beautiful view, but the breakfast leaves a lot to be desired, little variety, few healthy options, it is not up to what they charge per night for accommodation. If you get up early they give you a bag with food. I came to Coyhaique for work for 11 days, it was a bad experience, for a lower price there is the Diego de Almagro hotel a few steps away with a gym, swimming pool and buffet breakfast.

Very good confortable room with a garden view - excellent breakfast and meals with fresh products with mediterrean style mixed with local recipes. Ruth was very helpful to decide the place to visit on the amazing Carratera Austral, North to Queulat National Park and south to Chile Chico. I highly recommend that lodge as it is a must-stay in Coyhaique (even it's only 1 hour from Balmaceda) and i will return for sure.

Rooms are detached but are neat, tidy, warm and comfortable. The staff were great. The stand out for this hotel is the restaurant (Bortek) which is fantastic for both breakfast and dinner. It’s ironic that we moved here unplanned (we refused to stay in the accommodation our agent booked for in Cerro Castillo) yet it was the most comfortable and with easily the best food we experienced in the two weeks we spent in or there Patagonia.
