Our flight was delayed, so we did not meet our Concierge Alejandro Estrella until the next morning (he did message us that evening to welcome us). Check in was very swift, greeted with a cold towel and drink while we waited. We were in building 16 and booked Level and it was great - no issues except some cold water on day one, but one text to Alejandro and it was immediately addressed. Very close to the beach, pool and Quimera, perfect location and the bed very comfy. All our dinner reservations were made by Alejandro once he knew what we wanted for dinner and he also made some suggestions as well. I seriously cannot say enough about his attentive services and infectious personality!! He checked in with us every morning and before he left for the day The ONLY reason I am not giving the resort a 5 star is because I wished there was more options for dinners. Casa Notro was extremely slow for service, small portions and we couldn't wait to leave from there. Vietnamese and Quimera was amazing! I personally would appreciate at least one place to just walk in casually and get my dinner (yes, I could have order room service!) The grounds are beautiful and they work hard to maintain this. ALEJANDRO made our vacation and when we return...we will definitely be asking for him!…
Melia Punta Cana Beach Resort (adults only) was the best all-inclusive experience I’ve had. Everything from the ambiance, the service, our room, the many food options including specialty restaurants, the drinks, the pool areas and the beach. I’d like to specially thank William, who was helpful in making our experience fantastic. He made sure to book our dinner reservations and get us private golf cart transportation around the resort and when we were checking out. Due to the season the beach had seaweed at the shore but if you’re not squeamish, you’ll be okay. It was me and my husbands’ honeymoon and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Check-in was easy. The resort is huge so if you don’t like to walk in the heat, there’s a trolly that frequents back and forth about every 5 minutes, all day, everyday. COVID testing was done within 48 hours of our departure. I wish that there was a better system because it got a little busy when we went and they receptionist and the nurse seemed overwhelmed. It didn’t matter if you walked-in or made an appointment. Every night there is a themed party/event at the lobby which was so intimate and fun. If you wanted to dance, you could and if you wanted to relax and watch you could too. The bartenders in this area were awesome. They made the crowd very happy with their strong and delicious drinks. I recommend making a reservation to the specialty restaurants, even the Japanese hibachi that costs a little more. We just didn’t like the idea of buffet style for all 3 meals everyday. The Vietnamese and Italian restaurant were 5 star. I wish I could go back just for their food, no exaggeration. The buffet was good too. Safety measures were enforced at dining areas, you have to sanitize, wear a mask and wear gloves in order to access the area. The only downside is some eating areas are outside and the flies tend to navigate around the food areas. I can’t expect anything different as it’s outdoors. I didn’t mind. Lastly, if you plan to do any excursions, make sure to book through Otium. The reps are available throughout the resort and they make sure you’re in great hands. Do not spend your money with the vendors selling excursions on the beach as they are not affiliated with Melia at all. Thank you to all staff at Melia PC Beach Resort. You made our experience worth more than we imagined.…
Had a great time with our friends. No hassle on reservations with 10 ppl in our party. Juan and Edy were gracious and always made sure we were taken care of. Chef Janquely Santana gets a special shout out as he made several phone calls to get our sunset dinner on the beach all set up which included family style dinner. Overall we had a great time. Thanks to all.
We had a great time at Melia/The Level Very nice resort with friendly and very helpful staff. Everything very clean. Good Restaurants with excellent food. Our concierge made a great job. Always there with good ideas and big Support. Thx a lot Alejandro!
Hi at the MELIA wellness section now and they keep changing things like first go through butler service to reserve massages and restaurants. Day 2 and the butler cancels our supper reservation 1hr before we go and says must call an extension that no one answers! They sell ocean view and beach front and we are away from any view
Melia Punta Cana Beach Wellness is a spectacular resort that deserves 6 stars!! Yes, It's that good. Stay here one time and you are sold. You will be coming back- year after year. (speaking from first-hand knowledge) The daily message that you dream will never end is performed by expert staff that were born with magic hands that make your body melt like butter - every single day. And yes, you will want to take them home with you. Thank you Luisa, Juana, Fior, Rosy and one more, can't remember her name. The resort is absolutely stunning with tropical oasis landscaping, the luxurious rooms, postcard beach and spectacular pools. We all know, there are many beautiful beach resorts around the world but the Melia has something they don't....World class staff and service! When the resort did not have a particular flavored vodka one night for my wife our concierge Juan Adbricoles (the best) went after work and purchased it for her. That's World class service!!…
We had an amazing stay looked after by our concierge Juan Adbricoles in a beautiful resort! Juan looked after us really well helping us with everything and anything we needed. The food in the a la crate restaurants is very good and the selection at the buffet very varied. I enjoyed several spa treatments and can thoroughly recommend. The beach was well maintained and the seaweed managed as well as possible. We have loved our first trip to the Dominican Republic.
Our stay at Malia was exceptional. From the minute we arrived, we were taken care of. Armando went above and beyond to make our trip perfect. He took care of everything for us and made sure we were always
We went on a honeymoon trip from 06 June 22 till 15 June. The Resort is really big and beautiful, with lots of trees and green. There are many thematic restaurants, most of them with great food. I only missed a Japanese one. Actually there's a Japanese restaurant, however you have to pay it. Since you already paid an all inclusive experience, I thought it a little ackward to pay more for that. We paid a package called "The Level", which included some exclusive places, like a exclusive pool, rooftop bar and the Quimera restaurant, and some high level beverage, like Johnny Walker Black and Baileys Liquor. The overall experience was really great, but wasn't perfect. Once we were on a honeymoon trip, we expected a better treatment, but it was like we were on a common trip. We had some issues with the door and the shower, which sometimes didn't warm the water enough, and sometimes we had to take cold baths. We would like to thank Juan Adbricoles, our concierge from the level, who always scheduled our dinner and send the activities every day. Melia Punta Cana is a great resort, but for a five star resort could be a little better in some aspects.…
We had the very best time here!! The food was excellent, the rooms were beautiful and clean, the beach and pool were so relaxing. The service was outstanding. Juan Adbricoles and José Minaya took excellent care of us and we would recommend them to everyone staying at the hotel. They were accommodating, respectful and incredibly thoughtful. They made our trip so special and we are so thankful for them.
