We went in early May 2023 with family and friends on a WestJet package for $1850CAD. The adults only 18+ side was very nice and definitely had more private, elegant spaces. All the bartenders were awesome - my favourite bars were the piano bar due to its quietness and amazing breeze. I believe our room was the most basic one but it was still extremely spacious and even had a view of the beach. Housekeeping was very sweet. Our butler Juan made sure we had everything we needed, albeit not much. I've been on Royal Caribbean cruises before and honestly cruise food is top notch (9/10). The food here was 7/10 with the best restaurants being the buffet, steakhouse, and italian lunch. Management, if you are reading this, the only thing I would've wanted was Spanish music at the See and Sea restaurant! It would have been better ambiance than covers of pop songs.…

Overall, this was an incredible trip! My partner and I stayed in the Elegance club with jacuzzi for context. Upon arrival, we were given a private check in where we met our butler Victor (who was great) for the week. We highly recommend staying in the club section even if it is slightly more expensive because you can skip the long check in line and receive many benefits throughout your stay. There are many great things we can say about the Majestic Elegance resort and very few criticisms or comments that could improve vacations. First, the staff at this resort were extremely friendly and accommodating. Our butler Victor was great and whenever we needed something he answered quickly and our questions/issues were taken care of almost immediately. He made us reservations at restaurants which seemed to be an issue for those not in the club section. He even booked us a cocktail and starter with the owner of the majestic which was a really cool experience. The staff in the restaurants and around the resort were always smiling and willing to help (Lissette at the buffet was amazing and she even remembered our drink orders). Our room was cleaned every day (Bed was made, floors were mopped, new towels, etc were given and the room was decorated with flowers) and the food was very good. The resort is very clean and it is a beautiful place to relax and enjoy yourselves. Although this vacation was superb, a few things could be modified/changed to make it even better! The language barrier was quite difficult as many of the staff couldn’t understand English or French. The drinks were very good, but they were often watery (Still tatsy though and we tried a lot of different drinks). At the buffet, there weren’t spoons/tongs for every dish which meant that you were mixing foods (there were certain things we wanted, but didn’t like the other options so we didn’t use the tongs for it and didn’t take the food we wanted). A few times as well our table was cleared at the buffet because they thought we were done eating but we just went to grab another plate. For the price we paid, the resort exceeded our expectations. Our butler Gabriel was amazing, the sit down food was very good, we never had to wait for anything, plenty of seats at the beach, clean spacious rooms, and a friendly face where ever you went. We were very happy with our stay. The rooms are very big and nice. We had a great view too. The only complaint is that the AC does not get as cold as we would like it to. Most nights we slept without any sheets on because it was so hot. As with many other resorts, there is a lot of walking involved. All of the sit down restaurants have very good food. Our favorite was the Japanese. However, the buffets we did not really enjoy at all. Not many things we would eat personally. Our butler, Moyle Gabriel was the perfect touch to our vacation. We have never had a butler before but it made everything so much easier with having a point of contact. Additionally, he went above and beyond to make sure all of our needs were met. This resort is definitely not a 5 star but it is not priced like one! The check in process is exhausting and takes a needlessly long time. The air conditioner in our room never really cooled it off despite multiple requests to service it. The food was average to below average. The two restaurants that require reservations were better-but they were so unbearably hot it was hard to enjoy them. Our butler Olbus was nice and the beach and water are lovely but you have to get up early to get a chair close to the water with any type of shade. All in all it's a mixed bag with some employees being helpful and friendly and others downright surely. We brought lots of smaller bills and ALWAYS tipped every time we got a drink or meal. We had previously stayed at another resort in Punta Cana and had left talking about how nice the Dominican people were, but we didn't have the same experience this time. Our stay at Majestic Elegance at Punta Cana was very good. The food was good and with nice variety, the hotel has the buffet and several restaurants, some needs reservation. What is most special about this hotel is how the staff treats the customer. The servers at the buffet area are very attentive and kind, our special thanks to Diana. Me and my family felt welcomed every time. The hotel has a kid splash zone. Even the adults can spend a fun time with the kids at the slides. They also babysit for a limited time. The gym is in good condition and nicely equipped. We recommend this hotel if you' re looking for family vacation at punta cana.

Fourth time staying at Majestic Elegance and cannot say enough good. My girlfriend and I stayed in the adult only VIP section. Our room was clean and the pool/beach view was an extra special touch. A special thanks to our butler, Jorge for booking our 9 Door reservation and spa reservations. Also a special thanks to Royer (the mixologist) for serving up some delicious cocktails. We even got to join in on one of his private mixologist classes. He is one of my favorite parts about staying at Majestic Elegance. Another special thanks to Rey (the entertainment group leader). He was full of energy and always put on a great show. We can’t wait to be back!

My family and I just returned from staying at The Majestic Elegance in Punta Cana and absolutely loved it. From the time we arrived to the day we left; it was just wonderful. The grounds were kept impeccable. Our two rooms (adult only) were clean, comfortable and really enjoyed our amenities offered. The hotel was at full capacity, but with the many pools to choose from, you never felt crowded and sometimes the only one in the pool. The upgrade to the Elegance Adult Only was a plus as it gave us more access to the Elegance Clubs that offered lite breakfasts/lunch and snacks throughout the day plus bottled water, soda, wine & beer. The access also gave us more pools to choose from and a private section of the beach. The whole layout was very nicely planned. The restaurants were nice as well. We loved the Japanese Hibachi the best but make reservations the first day you get there as it fills up fast! The Italian Restaurant for breakfast (Adult only perk) was nice and no lines. But the Sea & See Buffet for breakfast was great too. I think the least favorite restaurant was the Steakhouse. It was just too crowded, and our meal came out cold and incorrect, so would avoid that one. The staff at the Elegance was always out to please. A HUGE thank you to our Butler, Richard (Rooms 3229 & 3231) as he was just wonderful. He was always there no matter the time of day to help any way he can to make reservations, answer questions or just chat. He was amazing! So kudos to Richard as well as the rest of the staff as I know they work loooong hours for many days in a row, so make sure you tip them well!! We can't wait to return as it is really a lovely resort!…
