A peace of heaven close to mumbai! I had a wonderful time with my friends at Le farm. The place is huge so you are not confined to a villa as is the norm in Lonavala. The food was simple yet tasty and the rooms were spacious and luxurious. I loved the Mango farm tour and relaxing in the pool. It’s a must visit!! The staff is sweet and helpful as well.

NO ELECTRICITY HORRIBLE SERVICE I would strongly advice against visiting this property. Our money and experience was ruined. Quick highlights- - No electricity only limited solar power for lighting - Unknown individuals invading privacy & spying - Women safety - Below average food - Misbehaviour by the owner - Zero hospitality and care for guests - Poor/ Zero response from booking team - Only interested in the advance payment - in case of emergency no staff to attend If you have 5mins ...Read on to know what happened with us before booking .... When you rent out a bungalow the least you expect is basic utilities like power, water and food. Right from the time we reached the electricity was not working. On a hot summer afternoon it was unbearable without any airconditioner or even fan. This continued for the whole evening up to night where the electricity was fluctuating time and again. We were told there is a backup generator and also solar power. After 5 hours of travel from Mumbai to this extremely far off remote location we were already exhausted with no choice but to believe that the electricity will be restored soon, so we continued our stay. Unknown individuals (not staff) were randomly roaming around the property which was very suspicious and made us feel unsafe. We paid for a barbecue dinner setup but we were served cold food at another spot stating there is no electricity at the promised dinner setup area. (Later they will say this is against their policy) Ultimately at night when we decided to sleep, none of the airconditioners or even fans were working in any rooms. Only lights were functional on solar power. With zero ventilation it was impossible to spend the night in the heat. We tried reaching out to the staff and the owner but nobody was available to address the issue. After a horrifying night of no sleep we requested for our refund but owner refused to come on a call. Again an unknown individual (no.1)(claiming to be a friend) arrives again and joins us un-invited. We realised that the whole time their generator was not working and instead of informing their customers before hand they chose to make money instead. By this time unknown individual no2. arrives and starts shouting and getting aggressive with the girls. He states "You enjoyed my property and you don't deserve a refund" Is this truly the way hospitality business works? Is this customer service? Or harassment? Or waste of 2 days and money. Decide for yourself.

“Luxury farm stay” is what we expected but totally opposite was the experience provided to us - [ ] No operational air conditioners throughout the stay - [ ] No working / back up generator which ended in a night with no fan and light as well - [ ] No privacy with Random people moving around the property - [ ] Incase of emergency / any help the point of contacts will not pick up any calls Best of luck guys who decide to go have a stay seeing the pictures…cause looks can be deceptive

Although pictures and location looks great il tel ul why to avoid based on my experience on weekend of 27th May - Unresponsive management - No privacy since ul find owners, relatives, friends loitering around somewhere around the huge property - Fraudulent intentions of management since not only was there no back up generator or electricity on arrival, but we were not even informed till we arrived there after a 5 hour drive - once you arrive you are at the mercy of Le farm for food etc., since there is NOTHING around - If you complain, like we did the next day about having no electricity ( not even fans working after a point ), the owner / keeper says take 10 percent refund ...What??? -- When asked for compensation, our women were spoken to rudely , asked to leave , and told that we enjoyed because we were drinking and partying.. - The owner didnt even reveal himself as the owner , although he was there the whole time ! - most of the spots that you may see in the pictures doesn't have surrounding lighting so you won't be able enjoy them in evening - We made the mistake of booking directly and not through , MTP, Yatra, Booking etc., and hence were treated inappropriately - At the end, after agreeing to refund and confirming the same on whatsapp (( email was denied by mgmt. )), once we vacated , the management deleted the message and refused to answer calls or messages.. -- PLEASE CONSIDER OTHER VILLAS BECAUSE THIS ONE WILL DEFINITELY DISAPPOINT AND RUNS ON SOLAR SO FORGET PARTIES AT NIGHT.

Massive property, much of it very well maintained. Lots of breakout areas, infact more than what’s needed basis the 6 room accommodation. The view and the vibe of the property also good. Here are the cons: This is way beyond Kamshet, it took us almost 3 hrs from Mumbai to get here. Deep inside interiors, nothing around this property for miles - for some it’s a good thing but incase u need something from a store, u have to drive a long distance or ask the staff to get you the same. Although they will charge u ₹400 for travel :). Other con is the pool, looks good on pics but crazy amount of chlorine. It’s so much that u can’t even see the floor tiles. Next is the limited staff. Just two people dedicated to the whole group and that too every time u need something u have to call them on thier mobile and then wait for them to come. Courteous folks no doubt but we certainly felt the service impact. Food option is very limited and taste wise also pretty average. Rooms and bathrooms esp were quite dated. We spent 24k for weekday accommodation for 2n per room and for the service and food I wouldn’t say it’s all worth it.

I visited le farm a few weeks ago with my friends. We were a group of 7-8 adults. We are all settled in the US, wanted a place just to catch up after a very long time. We were very pleasantly surprised by looking at how high the standards are maintained in Le farm. This place is so calm and clean, the service provided is just impeccable. The host( owner) Shivani Borade Shah is an extremely warm person and made sure all our needs were met. I am very glad that india has such homestays where professionalism is at its best. My favorite area was obviously the pool where we spent almost all our evenings and the area where we would play carrom for hours!! I have to make a special mention of the food. I think their food was one of the highlights of our stay. Their signature thecha is lovely. We packed a couple bottles was used to bring back home From bhajiyas to misal pav eveything was just perfect. We were thrilled to have food which was picked fresh from the farms. What an experience!!. This place has definitely changed my perspective towards homestays in india and I could proudly say that this was on par or may be more than what we have experienced in international locations. I will definitely visit le farm again with my friends and family when I visit India.

Le Farm - what a place! We just stayed there yesterday and couldnt be happier with my holiday! We couldnt travel anywhere due to the pandemic and our first holiday with family was such a fabulous one! The property - outstanding location, breath taking views, nature unseen! The villa - spacious, clean and minimally done and just cozy for us family members. The food - outstanding food, the maharaj is amazing and we loved everything especially the maharastrain meal, bbq They even made non spicy food for the kids and we were constantly asked for changes if any which there werent any! We gorged on their Local Indrayani rice and homemade thecha! The staff - very courteous and were helpful, being in the pandemic its difficult for close service but yet they were courteous with every request of ours We explored some amazing places around the property Over all the stay was amazing and I would definately suggest a visit here for the simple yet luxurious experience! The owner Shivani who stays at the property ensured everything was taken care off and even took us for a farm tour! Highly recommend a stay here, it really lives up to its name!

After eating farm to plate food - which wasn’t farm to plate for sure - it was definitely high sodium and tasted stale .. kids have fallen sick on this trip we had a terrible 3 days of stay with regards to kids falling sick after eating t the food .. they have vomited and had fever . This is absolutely not done , the Hygeine standards need to be checked . The service was off mark , we have been to so many villas and never have we faced this kind of problem EVER . Clearly something was wrong with the Hygeine levels since 4 pax got sick !!!! Please think twice before going don’t recommend it at all !

Hi, Thank you for your review and we apologize to know that you’l had a bad experience with us. However, it was an equally exteremly difficult experience for us to host you’l. The pandemic has made us limited with our service due to safety concerns and no matter what the staff did for the group it wasnt enough. Food was relished by everyone in the group and when Shivani (owner) met some of your group members it was praised as well as our signature Thecha was called for multiple times and taken home. Kids meals were served up in the villa though we have a strict no food in the villa policy due to hygiene & covid protocols, but as we care for our little guests whose food was carefully prepared fresh just like all other meals was sent up. All our produce is freshly bought as its not a running hotel. All the food was eaten and no complaint was made to us at that point of time, if the food that was alleged not fresh - why would it be consumed? We are a homestay and not a hotel, yet multiple demands with food requests were adhered to. When rules at hotels are followed then why not at homestays? We request you not to spread false rumors when most of the group enjoyed their stay and meals. Only because food for adults wasnt served in the villa and we requested to pay charges for extra food that was ordered, that certainly doesnt warrant such reviews on every platform. It was hard to keep some of you’l satisfied as nothing we would have done could be enough and this was the worst hosting experience for us post pandemic re opening. Hospitality establishments are quickly blamed for every small thing gone wrong but even travellers also need to be responsible and empathetic during the pandemic. We thank you again for staying with us and we will continue to strive to provide the authentic Le Farm experience to our guests as we care for every guest. Thank you.

We went there with our Family of 7 adults and 3 children under 4 and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Love the farm stay experience overall - with views of the lake, beautiful gardens, lots of greenery, fruit and vegetable farming The manager Sanjay made sure everything was taken care of. The food was great too! They have a good team looking after this place. I would surely do it again. This place is great for groups.
