A beautiful guest house, close to the castle and old city. Breakfast is fantastic and the staff are friendly, kind and helpful. Perfect location, great for families. Courtyard and rooms are well kept and comfortable.

Lovely old house, standard rooms are clean and comfortable. The location is great for walking to all the major sights, even Zeugma. I was given delicious ketmer for tea and at breakfast. The only drawback may be that English is not spoken by most of the staff except the owner, but this issue is common in the southeast and to...

The hotel is converted from an old house. The staff is great and very very helpful, they provide tips and even a map. The rooms are very large. My wife and I really enjoyed the breakfast that is prepared explicitly per person. The hotel is located next to Gaziantep Castle, within 10 minutes of walking you can reach Bakırcılar Çarşısı,...

Place is amazing if you like to stay in a historical stone mansion. Breakfast can be enriched to make this place better. Also the disturbing orange street light could be replaced with a soft local street light. Garden is very spacious and relaxing to have a coffee. Nice place!

We spent two nights at the Ali Bey Konagi on our round trip in South East Turkey. The hotel is very central right next to the castle and old hammam and within walking distance to the major sites and restaurants in town. Zeugma museum is around 20-30 minute walk away. The hotel is family run and staff is very friendly. Breakfast...

I, my wife, my 25 yr old daughter and my sister stayed in two rooms at Ali bey konagi. This boutique hotel offers a distant glimpse of its former grandeur after a relatively amateurish restoration attempt several years ago. Understandably this was the best the owners could do with their limited resources. The hotel is at a very good location...

I spent just one night, but it was a very nice place, confortable and romantic. The breakfast was delicious. The only problem was that they have not an electric generator and during a small black out we remained in the darkness.

"Konagi" means "Inn" in Turkish, I think. Some might call this place a "quaint" property; others a "boutique". What it is is a carefully restored Ottoman family home with fittings and fixtures carefully worked out so that whilst you know you are staying in the midst of history, you do not suffer unduly for it. This is not a flash...
