First off, we were traveling with pets... limits choices. This place, although convenient, is very rough. The staff were VERY helpful... the deficiencies that the hotel has are not due to the staff or anything that they have control over. The first room... AC was not working and it was well over 90 degrees. Staff moved us to a new...

Where can I start? The bed sheets had huge stains which appeared to be rust, and had to be changed out. The mosquitos, bugs, and spiders were terrible, there was no telephone in the room, WIFI was unavailable, and the bed was very uncomfortable. I will not be staying here again, and in this situation, I can most definitely say...

I cannot say enough good things about this place! If you are looking for a locally owned and ran hotel this is the one for you. To say the owner went above and beyond for my family is an understatement. My brother was hospitalized at Chicot Memorial. The owner heard about my family traveling with our elderly parents and offered...

My husband and I love going to Lake Chicot and we stay at the Lighthouse because they are pet friendly and we have one very small dog. Apparently the management/help didn't realize I was with my husband since I walked the dog while he checked in. Right after dark, there was a knock on our door and one of the...

I was charged twice for a one night stay. When I contacted the Lighthouse Inn I was told that the tub was backed up after our stay requiring a plumber to fix it. I noticed the slow drain when we used the shower, but never dreamed I would be double charged for fixing a plumbing problem!! No way we were...

Filthy place with roaches and other bugs. The carpet and the mattress had stains and perforations all over. The toilet seat and the lamp next to the bed had been “repaired” with duck tape. Place not even safe for the bugs there; you better keep driving.

We had reservations to stay at the motel for three nights. We left the lobby and went straight to our room to discover that it smelled awful. The smell was a mixture of cigerette smoke and mildew. Our room had two double beds and a small kitchenette. The mattress on one of the beds was sagging in the middle. The...
