Hammocks around the property, completely furnished super spacious verandab with relaxing and dining set, all the meals served on your veranda & All cottages have AC (even the extra room in Khombu has a separate one). A common swimming pool (15 x 5 meter) with plenty of sun loungers and umbrellas. We really look after you to guarantee a perfect stay because holidays are precious.

I think there are few places where one can feel totally spoilt and yet submerged in the local culture. The small scale resort with just four villas allows such peace and quiet and privacy. The staff is amazing - the cleaners are so kind and efficient, the waiting staff fun and professional, the manager is always around and very approachable, the chef and his helper produced fantastic meals, the ground staff were happy and thoughtful and the man on the gate put up with our coming and goings. There was a great team spirit among all the staff. There is plenty to do including the beach which is beginning to become more developed compared to our stay ten years ago (probably not surprising!), the pool, interesting walks in the area and also the hotel bikes which we used a couple of times. This is an exceptional Villa/Homestay metres from the beach but set in its own tranquil oasis. The team are tremendous, caring, discreet but always available, the food superb and made to order. A personal touch that does not go over the top, The Amritara Beach Symphony is a perfect stop off or longer stay destination and we sincerely thank the staff for their kindness and great sense of fun shown to us during our 10 day stay. A special mention and thank you to Deepu,the manager for all your help, Chef for his skill and flexibility Arun, Coconut man and his brilliant skills and to Dom, a most thoughtful and caring man with a great sense of humour. It was an excellent rest. Nearby the beach. The staff was very friendly, always ready to help you with everything you need. They recommend a boat trip, that was meditative and pleasant. The House is nice and clean, food was very various and tasty. There are several villas, but you feel as you are alone there. We could use bycicles there.

It was my 1st trip to Kerala, I booked it through my sister. It was an amazing experience staying in Amritara. Room, food, everything was good. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We would surely plan aur next stay there only if we visit Marari.

It was such a pleasant homestay at this resort. We took the Two bedroom beach villa/cottage and it was spacious with an open shower😍 Cherry on top is the beach just being about 100mts away and you can hear the sound of waves which is so soothing. Loved everything about this place.

Felt like home away from home. Cutest little place. The open backyard pool and shower were the best. The meals in the veranda so close to nature , relaxed all nerves and senses. Glad to have found it.

This is a lovely boutique hotel with just 4 cottages. As other reviews have said, there is no beach view or direct access although the beach is only a couple of minutes walk away. Our initial disappointment about the beach view and access diminished once we had settled in but needs to be recognised. Great food, staff very friendly and helpful, the room/cottage was excellent and the pool, although enclosed, was pleasant. A quiet retreat - but not on the beach! The out of date photo on Booking.com showing a beach view is unfortunate and not correct. There is a fence blocking the view.

We were staying in December, so we enjoyed the hotel, the weather, the food and the politeness of the personal. For the food the chef would ask you for the options you like to eat and time you want your meal. Also, when we needed help or support, they always have been responsive and helpful. The beach is right there and the in evening there are beautiful sunsets.
