Escape from work to paradise! Where dreams come true for those looking for a perfect relaxing holiday.Only 4 separate cottages set in a coconut tree beach garden. Hammocks around the property, completely furnished super spacious verandab with relaxing and dining set, all the meals served on your veranda & All cottages have AC (even the extra room in Khombu has a separate one). A common swimming pool (15 x 5 meter) with plenty of sun loungers and umbrellas. We really look after you to guarantee a perfect stay because holidays are precious.
Places to stay are graded on a 0-100 scale. The higher the grade, the easier it is for travellers to find restaurants and things to do within walking distance.
Very accommodating staff who are the right amount of attentive but also give you your own privacy. Amazing rooms, so big and as the complex is small, it feels very exclusive. Lovely calm pool and excellently clean. A very enjoyable, relaxing stay. The chef serves you meals on your own balcony for a very affordable price.
Although not owned by the accomodation, the beach is not the most amazing, needs a little clean up.

Amazing stay thanks to Deepu and the team. We stayed here with a group of 8 people and booked three out of the 4 cottages which are situated directly by the beach (20 meters walk).
Perhaps the most amazing experience was the private chef discussig with the group to hear everyone's preferences and making custom meals with fresh ingredients.
This was the best food we had in India by far and everything is prepared with filtered water.
Can only recommend this accomodation even for its steep price.

Amritara is a boutique resort and fantastic. It has exquisite interiors including statues inside the room which is a great artistic touch . The resort is just a few meters away from the beach. The food is also excellent. I would recommend it highly to visitors in the Marari beach area if you want to try something unique( the traditional Keralan house architecture with artistic interiors ) and not run of the mill.
One of the main plus points is that you could have your own Alfresco breakfast/lunch/ dinner hearing to the sound of the ocean( you can’t see the sea though) which was excellent.
If I was to nitpick , I would say it could have done with a bit more cleaning in the toilet areas as they weren’t super spick& span( I mean not close to 5 star standards but nevertheless not bad at all) .
Deepu, the resort manager and Shailan the chef were super courteous and ensured our stay was comfortable.

This is our second holiday here 😃and we stayed for 12 nights. This truly was the relaxing get away from it all break we needed. The walled garden setting with 4 cottages and a shared pool is magical. Our cottage had it own private plunge pool and each cottage has its own veranda where you take your meals. The grounds are beautifully kept, Deepu and his team are attentive without being intrusive and the delicious Keralan cuisine 😋 from Chef was fabulous. Our cottage had air conditioning, fans and a spacious bedroom with large comfortable bed, high ceiling with separate dressing area. Did I mention a cut coconut 🥥 to drink from the garden? Local festival with elephants? A Beach Symphony (ABS) is just a few minutes walk to Marari beach and 5 minutes to the nearest village shop. Whether you want to explore Kerala and make ABS your base,for have a rest from travelling Deepu can arrange any tours or activities you might want. For us, it was all about relaxation and we cycled to the local Auvervdic Centre for daily treatments.
If you are flying home from Cochin, a night or 2 at their sister hotel in Fort Kochi is a good option to keep the vibe but dip your toe back into town life. I would thoroughly recommend ABS for a holiday of unpretentious luxury, natural lush beauty , and Keralan culture.

Are you a weary NRI soul working hard in a far way land yearning to enjoy a few relaxed days unwinding with your other half in Gods own country? This is the perfect place for you. When you plan on that annual trip to Kerala, go here first, rejuvenate, replenish your soul, re-connect with your soulmate and then you will have great energy and vibes for the rest of the trip ;)
This place is beautiful. There are just a few cottages by the beach. We stayed at one built with a traditional "arappura" that made us feel we were ancient royals :) The best part was the open bathroom which I loved although my spouse was a bit bashful and hung towels although the cottage is enclosed at the back and there is no risk of intrusions to your privacy :) We took long walks on the beach in the early morning and hung out on the hammock or on the verandah arm chairs reading or chatting. The meals are personalized (the cook comes to ask you what you want) and tasty. We were looking out for each one.
There are a few things to keep in mind. The internet service is poor and you will end up using your phone wifi (which turned out well for us as we wanted a break from the internet). The staff are very friendly and helpful. There are some mosquitoes, and you will occasionally see a frog visiting your open air bathroom. This is Kerala and we do have a robust ecosystem here. Dont come here if you are the type to scream at these things. As for me, I felt one with nature :)

This is the rejuvenation of soul body and mind. It is beachside escape in mararikulam near alleppy is a peaceful resort where guests can switch on to nature mode and tune into sounds of nature like the symphony of Arabian Sea and melodies of bird chirp. Only 04 rooms cottages one with private pool midst of lush green huge area with palm trees and tropical plants. One can experience personalised meal services at private sit out area. Amazing food with mouthwatering taste leaves you speechless.

We needed a place to stay before going to the airport for our evening flight This lovely hotel gave us the use of a beautiful cottage, morning tea, great lunch (good chef) & swim in their pool for a GREAT price. They ensured we where happy & extremely comfortable - lovely staff. They paid the local beach vendors so we could have a nice seat & umbrella by the sea to enjoy a swim for a couple of hours. And most importantly this boutique hotel, understood western wants, needs & requirements to be happy. It has a lovely mix of local & western comforts. Everybody would truely enjoy this place for a few days at least. Especially if you are near the backwaters of kerela. Thanks team we really enjoyed & appreciated your hospitality!!!!

Amritara A Beach Symphony is a fantastic beach side resort located in mararikulam, Alappuzaha. Very good atmosphere and Ambiance We spend some days there Beach 🏖 is very near and maybe 150 meters form the cottage, very clean beach with very little rush. Three type of cottage are available there ! Staff also very good and friendly Mr.Deepu and Mr.Dominic helped us when we spend our holidays Very nice food provided by them. They are providing complementary breakfast ! WiFi avalible ! Private parking inside the resort ! They are following all Covid protocol! Overall all 9 out of 10

The resort is located at just a minutes walk from the beach. But there is no sea view. Cottages are good, spacious, has a lovely verandah. Negative point is the service. There is no dedicated reception or service number which you can dial in case of any need. You will only have the manager' s mobile no. You will expect 5 star quality service when you pay the amount they are charging, but you never get that. Food menu is very limited. There is no breakfast spread, only limited options. One day we had to leave at 7 am in the morning. So we asked for packed breakfast. But they provided only fruits. I have some issue with the pool also. It is 5 feet deep with no slope or gradient. So you can't let your children in the pool. It will also be very risky for short people who doesn't know swimming. There is no attendant at the poolside also. Overall I feel it very OVERPRICED.

As you know all our meals are served on individual cottage verandah as we are not having aformal reastaurant set up .All our meals are prepared on fresh purchase from the local market so that we can cater always fresh local delicacies to our valued guests .To make it possible our chef vists each of our guests on a daily basis to discuss the menu part with our guests . All our 4 cottages are situated on proper Marari beach and we never said at any platform that we have direct seaview . Amritara is the last property on the way to Marari Beach making it just a few 100 meters away from the beach. They have a wonderful swimming pool which is maintained daily and the chefs are also professionals who have worked in 5 star hotels like the Taj. The staff is very friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend this to anyone who would want to visit Marari beach

For dinner we charge about rs 900 and our lunches vary from 150 to rs 550.
Rates at Vismaya are in big lines comparable.
