We visited El Oceano beach with friends from 31/12/19 to 03/01/20 as we wanted some R & R after a full on tour of The Golden Triangle and Munnar in Kerala We stayed in 2 adjoining heritage rooms which were large, spotlessly clean with en-suite and a super king size beds. We thoroughly enjoyed the New Year’s Eve party and the buffet dinner which offered over 20 different main courses as well as beautiful barbecue food. The staff could not do enough for us during our stay the Manager Vinod and his staff are so helpful and attentive they really go the extra mile to ensure all visitors have a great holiday. Although the Hotel is not beach front the local beach is only a 500 meters walk and another more sandy beach is a 200 rupee Tuk Tuk ride away. Down side not much choice in alcoholic drinks only local beer and wine is available, but that can be said for most of the places we visited in Kerala, also the poolside could do with more sun beds and updated furniture The manager Vinod has only been in charge for a few months and is so enthusiastic he wants to improve the hotel and amenities. I am sure that he will put his plans in place and El Oceano will be an even better place under his guidance.

The room that was allotted to us was very spacious. The ambience of the room is warm lights. The property is right at the shore, a complete switch off from the city’s sound pollution. The food is incredible. A huge thanks to the staff who helped make our stay more comfortable and a memorable one.

We stayed at El Oceano villas for 8 days at the end of our India trip. It turned out to be a perfect place to relax after a wonderful Indian experience. We stayed in a beach villa which was clean and comfortable with air conditioning in the bedrooms. It was quiet and and a few yards from the sea. We ate in the small beach restaurant and breakfast and dinner was prepared by Simson and his team. The food was delicious with a good choice. Nothing was too much trouble for them and we became good friends. The management produced a lovely surprise Birthday Cake for my husband, which was a delightful touch We cannot commend all of the staff highly enough as they always went the extra mile, even taking our cards to the post for us. Our stay was truly memorable. Thank you.

We stay at Oceano for two nights and really enjoyed our experience. The property provides a very relaxing experience, with villas right on the beach as well inland properties situated in a well kept and lush garden. The staff is very attentive and helped provide a really nice stay there. The rooms are clean, spacious, comfortable and fit in with the environment. And the food was really tasty! Special thanks to the cook, JK who served up some great, authentic dishes and was really hospitable and friendly.

Spent the New Year eve with my wife. The room we stayed in was luxurious and excellently maintained. A complimentary party was through by El Oceano with complimentary dinner to bring in the New Year. It was a nice gesture and we had a great New Year's party. :)

We stayed in the coral beach house. The House is a period property with an oldy worldy cham. A/C in both bedrooms Great sea front location and views of the evening sunset. Free Tuc tuc service to the main hotel as the 4 beach properties are a 5 minute ride down to the beach. Great restaurant for candle lit dinners in the garden and spa facility. Very friendly staff. willing to go the extra mile to make the stay enjoyable

We stayed at Coral Villa, just a stone's throwaway from the ocean. Beautiful Mararikulam beach is just a 5-minute tuc-tuc ride away, and the resort itself is perfect for a quiet beach getaway. We tried the spa and I had the best ayurvedic massage ever, for a very reasonable price. The restaurant is excellent, and the staff are very friendly and helpful, without being over-solicitous. Highly recommended.

We stayed at the beach villa, away from the main property. The Area is peaceful, serene. There is nothing else to do at this place though. Pool and all other stuff are at the main property. So if you have kids and want to keep them engaged, better choose the main property, but it does not have any sea view.
There is beach access from the villas, that's a great thing.
The buffet breakfast is not the usual spread, you get to choose/order from a small set available.

I stayed at the hotel for a day however enjoyed the time. Staff of the hotel is very cordial and cooperative. Nice peaceful place with a well maintained ambience. Food quality is really good, with well mannered table etiquette. Also had an opportunity to utilize the aryashala facility, good trained person who has carried out massage.
Overall a good and happy stay, i recommend you to stay here, if you visit Marari Beach area of Alappuzha.

Hotel El Oceano Beach Villa is nice property and the staff is very courteous, helpful and food is good for foreigners as well as Indians. Marari beach is 500 meters from the resort but reaching by bicycles is lovely experience.
I spent good time in resort.

El Oceano Beach Villas total having 16 rooms , from these only 4 rooms are in front of beach i.e. beach villa room and balance all category rooms ( Standard, Deluxe , Heritage & Honeymoon Suite ) are situated in another main plot which is 500 mtrs away from the beach villa room. Swimming pool & restaurant Facilities are only available @ the El Oceano main plot, guest can avail room service facility over there in beach villa .
There are more places to choose from in the Mararikulam area.
