Everything about our stay here celebrating our Silver wedding anniversary was wonderful! We were warmly welcomed by Manusha and team with garlands and refreshments. We were taken to our villa and had the fabulous surprise that we had been upgraded to a pool villa as we are here for a special occasion. The bed was also beautifully decorated.
The resort is very peaceful and relaxing. The staff work hard to keep the gardens looking green and tidy.
As well as our own pool we have also enjoyed relaxing and sunbathing by the communal pool.
The beach is very unspoilt with just a few deckchairs and umbrellas which are complimentary for guests. The sea is very warm and although a little bit rough it was fine for swimming. One afternoon while sitting on the deckchairs we were lucky enough to see a pod of dolphins swimming past.
I had a very relaxing head and shoulder massage with Shisheda at the Spa, my best massage in Kerala.
We enjoyed the delicious Kerala food in the restaurant. Great variety and different buffet options each day. The service from manager Shimlaj and his team, especially Mabel and Vishnu, was superb. Everyone was so friendly and helpful.
Our highlight was a special seafood dinner prepared for us to celebrate our anniversary, including a delicious cake.
We have been so well looked after and it’s been a perfect way to end our tour of Kerala. We would definitely love to come again. Thank you everyone at Xandari for a wonderful time!

Thank you so much for your kind words and heartfelt review celebrating your Silver wedding anniversary at Xandari Resorts! We are thrilled to hear that your stay with us was filled with wonderful moments and special surprises. It warms our hearts to know that the warm welcome by Manusha and our team, complete with garlands and refreshments, set the perfect tone for your celebration. We are delighted that you enjoyed the surprise upgrade to a pool villa, and that the beautifully decorated bed added an extra touch of charm to your accommodation. We're glad to hear that the resort's peaceful and relaxing atmosphere, coupled with the diligent efforts of our staff in maintaining the green and tidy gardens, contributed to a memorable experience. It's fantastic that you had the opportunity to enjoy both your private pool and the communal pool, as well as the unspoilt beach with its complimentary deckchairs and umbrellas. The sighting of a pod of dolphins during your afternoon by the beach sounds truly magical – nature's special gift to enhance your anniversary celebration. We're also pleased that Shisheda's head and shoulder massage at the Spa became a highlight of relaxation during your stay. Our culinary team is overjoyed to learn that you relished the delicious Kerala food at our restaurant, with a variety of buffet options each day. Kudos to our manager Shimlaj and the dedicated team, especially Mabel and Vishnu, for providing superb service with friendliness and helpfulness. We stayed over Christmas and NY - a wonderful experience and the staff really looked after us. We have young children so the pool was perfect for them and a short walk to the beach where they could play safely in the waves. The resort was spacious and safe and we were happy to let our kids run free to the room and back without worrying.
The accommodation was top notch with outdoor showers and private gardens at the rear. Lovely to wake up to birdsong and wander through the orchards and vegetable/orchid garden. We appreciated yoga every morning and made us of the kayaks and bikes.
I would praise the staff for their top notch service. Nothing was too much trouble - from the girls on reception who sorted transport for us to the restaurant manager who went the extra mile. It was my daughter’s 8th birthday and they made a special cake for her and arranged dinner. The ladies who cleaned and maintained the gardens were especially kind to her and made her presents. Thomas the resort manager also arranged extra advanced 1:1 yoga for me which made my stay like a yoga retreat.

Just an amazing hotel. Our villa was very comfortable with everything we needed. There is a big outside bathroom which looks great but beware of mosquitoes. the villa has its own private terrace and garden with a hammock. Beautiful views from here. The swimming pool is really lovely but I always prefer the sea. The beach in front of the hotel is clean because the hotel staff clean in. You need a bit of care getting in and out of the sea but its wonderful. The hotel are allowed two beds on the beach and the staff will carry them down for you but the cafe has chairs and umbrellas also on the beach. They sell beer but it is strong. The restaurant has great food we ate a la carte because we were not very hungry except for the last night and had an amazing buffet. The kitchen seems to take great care, I had a tour of the kitchen and it was spotless and very well organised. This was our last stay in India and we could not have chosen anywhere better. I dont think the photos on the website really do it justice. It is beautiful, especially the butterfly garden such a wonderful experience every day to walk literally through the butterflies. There is also an orchid garden but the wrong time of year for us to see anyway but this is going to be stunning when it is the season.

We had a wonderful time at Xandari Pearl. The property is huge & beautiful with just around 37-38 villas in a 20 acre area making sure that each individual villa is spacious, luxury & comfortable. The blue pearl villas have a private plunge pool & garden while the green pearl villas only have a garden, rest all is almost same. There is a beautiful open air shower in all villas which is really nice!
The food options are a bit limited given the pandemic but the taste is great & you will surely love it. We found the food a bit overprice though compared to other resorts in same category. But again the taste is great & makes up for it.
The staff doesn't shy away from going the extra mile to make sure you have a fabulous stay. Special shoutout to the resort manager Anoop & operations head Praveen for the personal touch in all communications we had with them.
The beach is not very swim friendly (which wasn't a big deal for us personally) but you can go dip your feet, enjoy the sunset & a nice stroll!!!
There is a pond next to the reception where you can enjoy peddle boating. Main pool was closed as per COVID protocol but I can imagine how enjoyable & lovely it would have been if open given the location & size of the pool.
In all, we had an amazing amazing stay at Xandari.. Already planning on exploring their other properties!!
Rates we got post direct negotiation : Covid special package (almost 50% of their original rates) - INR 7500 for green peal (without plunge pool), INR 11300 for blue pearl (with the plunge pool)
I hope you find the review useful, give a thumbs up if yes. Let me know in the comments if you happen to visit :)

We booked this hotel for our wedding and what an absolutely perfect choice we made. The hospitality all over India is amazing but Xandari Pearl is in a different league. Thomas and Eva, along with their team took it upon themselves to pull together the most incredible wedding beyond our wildest expectations. The beach is tranquil, food is like nothing I have eaten before, rooms are spotless. Each and every staff member is helpful, even the gardeners helped me wrap my saree the following day and all hotel members teamed up to escort me to the aisle. We asked for bags for our guests with mosquito repellant and water bottles and we got them with smiles and helpfulness. The hotel has more of a rustic feel to it which is wonderful and fitting with an Indian beach holiday. I found many of our other hotel stays across India to be boring and lacking in cultural experience, albeit good hospitality. Thomas was there the next day to load us up into a bus to take us to the houseboat with Xandari Riverscapes - which is an experience not to be missed. I can only be forever grateful and in awe of this special place and cannot wait to return one day perhaps with children to relax on the beach. If you are busy looking for accomadation in the area for a holiday, stop looking and book Xandari Pearl immedietly because there is simply no better decision to be made.

Blissful Trip
It's as if the energies of the universe were coming in to bountifully bless us. Surfing the net with high ratings we spotted Xandari Pearl Beach Resort and decided to just walk in to see if we would want to spend our rare break in the Muthoot property. As my husband wanted to celebrate my birthday with a special touch; especially as we had both our kids back at college post pandemic, he just loved the ambience and the interiors and exteriors designed with a Greek touch. We were thoroughly impressed by the hospitality of the Xandari Pearl family. Thomas at the reception was exceptionally warm and welcoming, our heart was taken right there and we knew we were at the right place.
From Arun who gave us, a clear cut picture of the property and comprehended our requirements giving us a room as we desired. We moved into the Green Pearl Villa which has a garden within the courtyard. Hygiene wise and aesthetically perfect. The room also has a safe open air shower making you blend in with nature. It suited our budget and we were delighted to have made the choice as we walked around the property to the beautiful beach which was about a 200m away from our room. Midway we stopped at the restaurant for a complimentary treat of South Indian speciality with a variety of hot/cold evening beverages. The restaurant faced the common pool. Dipping our feet in the pool enjoying the filter coffee and treats we enjoyed the breeze and soaked in the awesome ambience.
Chef Vipin was a super host to chat us all up about the foods and has so much knowledge to impart. His healthy inputs and great conversation was infectious and we looked forward to meeting him at the eatery. The food was just like home made food easy on the palate and delicious too. Dinner was buffet spread as enough guests on the property makes it possible. A la carte too was an option.
Breakfast too was a Multicuisine spread and we thoroughly enjoyed the dishes prepared by Kavitha under the able guidance of Chef Vipin. Mahesh, Vishnu, Deepak and Nithin were very courteous while taking care of us during our meals.
Tariq weaved in his hospitality with his warm namaskarams and courteous tone to check if we were comfortable.
When I reachd back to my room after breakfast a delightful surprise awaited me. Blue balloons a beautiful spread of bouquets and a dream cake awaited me ... I was so touched and totally surprised at their gesture!
I invited them to come and join us wth the celebrations ... Well they further surprised me by up grading us to a Blue Pearl Villa that has a plunge pool and with that room an attached verandah overlooking the central pond. That was just a superb gesture. We loved it so much that we stayed there another night and have come back with the sweetest hangover possible. Looking forward to visiting them yet again.
I would certainly recommend an experience of Xandari Pearl to feel a sense of bliss and rejuvenate your senses.

Having been in both North and South India for over 3 weeks, travelling from place to place, we came to rest at the Xandari Pearl for the last couple of nights before our return home. We had no idea what to expect from a beach resort, having never visited one before, but this place was a revelation. The whole ethos of the place appealed to us straight away with its focus on environmental issues and community engagement and we were more than happy to settle into its sparkling white villas with their open-air showers.
The atmosphere was peaceful and relaxing which is exactly what our tour agent had promised us to round off our holiday. The food was excellent and the staff could not have been more friendly and helpful. We were much taken by the orchids and butterflies in the grounds and by the fact that the resort tries to grow as much of its own produce as possible for inclusion in its lovely local dishes.
The nearby beach also provided a pleasant diversion, though swimming in the sea is not recommended due to the shelving under the surface of the water. The only thing that we were sorry about was that it did not seem to be possible to walk around anywhere outside the gates of the resort but, in spite of that, I would still recommend it as a place to unwind for a few days.

Everything here is excellent.
Right from the welcome drinks and garlands to checkout, this resort will surprise you in every possible way.
The rooms in the Villa are large and tidy. The theme is very well complemented with lush green private garden in the Villa and sea shell flooring of open shower bathroom.
All amenities are provided and very well placed.
The bed is extremely comfortable. Food is delectable.
Pool is widely spread and seperate kids pool is also available.
There is Private entry to the beach from the resort and guards available for assistance. Beach is clean and secluded.
Cattle House, Butterfly Garden, Ayurvedic Spa centre, well maintained lawns, pond with paddle boat and fishes add to the feeling of being in nature's lap.
Everything in the Resort is thoroughly planned and executed. From umbrellas for rain and sun to bicycles for resort commutation, everything is already well taken care of.
*Service* is the shining star here. Keen staff always ready to help and serve with a smile.
It was my daughter's Second birthday and on knowing the same, housekeeping staff had decorated the room with balloons and flower petals and reaction of my baby was amazing when she woke up on the decorated bed. They also provided a complimentary cake at the restaurant to celebrate the birthday with the Xandari Pearl family.
Arun and Thomas pampered the kid well with souvenir toys. They also arranged tuk tuk and taxis for local sightseeing.
Checkout was quick and happy.

+1
A nice laid back resort a very short stroll to the beach. The rooms are spacious and clean, and the overall resort achieving a relaxed ambience. The staff are very friendly and attentive, and the food very good (the kitchen was very good at making meals that met our dietary requirements). The spa whilst expensive to outside options was well worth the extra cost. The beach is beautiful at first glance and from a distance but not for swimming given faeces of the fishermen. Overall a thoroughly enjoyable stay.

Yes. They have alcohol license.
We booked a temple tour (half day) with Jay and it was amazing! We can highly recommend it! Even though we did in January, I am very sure they offer this year round. But it might be wise to book in advance through the hotel.
Hi, yes they do have a spa and you should definitely try it.
