If you are looking for a comfortable base from where to explore the Marari Beach and Alappuzha area then this one is ideal. Run by a young, english speaking, university educated couple, your every need is catered for. Jency is an excellent cook, and her husband Allwyn is the most efficient and helpful owner we have ever met in all our travels around India. Set in a super garden, with mature trees, two swimming pools, hammocks and sun loungers, there are a number of private cottages available, all very well furnished with very comfy beds and excellent air conditioning. After a hectic trip around India this is a perfect place to relax and visit the fishermen on the beach or cruise the lake and the backwaters. This is also now our favourite place to stay whenever we return to

Not knowing what paradise is like for YOU, for me it is laying in a hammock in a beautiful garden, next to a quiet pool, listening to lovely birds while a wonderful flavor of homemade curries slowly conquers my nose.... That is what I was gratefully enjoying during my stay at Marari Draeamz. Being decently taken care of by this lovely couple (Allwyn and Jency), I preferred this stay to any 5 Star hotel, for what you get there is pure peace and privacy. Jency is a godess in the kitchen and all her homemade delicacies were served on our private terrace while Allwyn took care of every other need. Lots of little things made a big difference, like beautiful christal glasses, or a member of the attentive stuff, who hang our swimsuits for drying. We appreciated the opportunity to take

We researched the area carefully before making our choice. Marari dreamz received the best reviews of all of the places we shortlisted by far. You never quite know until you arrive just how accurate the reviews you've read are, but we were not disappointed. The first thing to be said about the resort is that the Alwyn and Jenci, our hosts, are what make it great. They make you feel as if your the first guests who ever visited them, without being over the top. After a long flight and a not so long road trip to get to them, they new exactly what we needed; A cool and refreshing drink and a relaxing chat while they helped us to get our bearings. By the time we were ready to go to our room we were 'wowed' by what we saw. They've thought of every little detail in putting each room

We have recently returned from a wonderful holiday in Kerala, the highlight of which was our stay at Marari Dreamz. This charming homestay deserves every one of its 5 star reviews. Each of the individual villas is set in its own private garden. We had the opportunity to try most of the rooms during our stay and they are all slightly different but equally well appointed. Our personal favourite was Red Stone Villa with its private pool set in an oasis of lush planting. Allwyn and a Jency are wonderful hosts. Relaxed and welcoming, nothing is too much trouble. Allwyn organised a wonderful half day cruise on the back waters on a private boat for just the two of us. Perfect! He also booked taxis, found a barber and chiropodist and arranged for us to have a massage. We used the

Really enjoyed our recent four night stay in the Sky room at Marari Dreamz. Huge bedroom and balcony, all very clean. Allwyn and Jency were great hosts, really kind and helpful, and Jency’s food was amazing. We loved exploring the quiet local roads with the free bikes. Everyone was so friendly. The pool was lovely after a days sightseeing, however the mats on the sun beds could possibly do with being renewed. The beach is ok with a few sun loungers and beach cafes, however it shelves deeply and the waves are quite large. It was great for watching the morning fishermen though, and generally enjoying the sea breeze. We thought it was a good spot for soaking up rural life by the beach but also within easy reach of Alleppey. We would love to return one day.
