Stayed at Marari Dreamz for two nights in August 2022. We love Kerela and have been travelling there at least once every year for several years now. We are amazed every time, and this was no different. Mararikulam is a quiet sleepy town which has several expansive 5 star properties and many home stays. We chose Marari Dreamz based on the reviews, and can confidently say that they aren't overrated. Allwyn is a plesant young man who is knowledgable and helpful, and the face of this homestay. Jency is his every smiling Missus who is the back bone of the enterprise. We had the Red Stone Villa, the one with the private swimming pool. The room is comfortable in all respects, and the open air bathroom is a gem. We were there during the mosquito season and had to use mosquito repellant incense sticks to ward off the buggers, but that I would think is a Mararikulam problem, and not an isolated reflection on the homestay. We weren't prepared for the mosquito menace but Allwyn had us covered : incense sticks, repellant creams and other bits were provided. The pool is clean and well functional, which we utilised thoroughly. The sea was rough hence Jency couldn't get the fresh fish and squid that we requested for lack of fishing vessels, so we couldn't sample her cooking beyond breakfast. Side note: We did visit CGH Earth for lunch (which was great) and the property seemed well kept and nice, but when I compare it to Marari Dreamz, I could find the character of Mararikulam missing at the resort. Staying with Allwyn and family, and their 5 dogs was an experience that is signifcantly more memorable than what would be when staying at a resortish place, whose memories then eventually form a blur, undifferentiated between one resort and another. I went for runs in early morning and cumulatively covered 20kms worth of inner roads in the villages, and found it a runners/ bikers (cycle) haven. I would strongly recommend this.…
This was our second visit to Marari Dreamz and it was even better than the last time. Allwyn and Jency are wonderful hosts. The best part of the stay is dinner time because Jency is an exceptional cook. You won’t get this food in any hotel! True Kerala fare as it is cooked in homes. The new pools are an added bonus. We enjoyed hanging out in the private garden by the pool. My parents also loved the peace and quiet. The beach is only a short walk away. Be aware that there are pets on the property so if you don’t like dogs or are scared of them, this may not be the place for you. However, the dogs are very well behaved, especially little Shanku.
this place is Heaven 🤘🏼 an Awesome package .. A must go-to place! 🌟💃🏻 Go see it to believe it, it'll be worth it! Lovely ambience and hospitality with a bonus of cycling to the beach! Many great moments to capture🌟
This place was recommended as a great weekend getaway by a friend. Allwyn spoke to me to understand what I was looking for and he understood our requirements and suggested a arrangement that would work best for us. Allwyn made us feel comfortable to communicate any of our requirements or clarifications before we booked the place. The booking process was simple and easy. I was impressed by the efforts they are taking to keep the place sustainable and eco-friendly. As we checked in Allwyn took the time to explain everything about the place and activities we could do there. The place felt like home with so many dogs around that were rescued by this beautiful couple Allwyn and Jency. They had to keep the dogs bound for sometime when they had guests who were not comfortable with dogs. The room and bathroom was clean and comfortable. The pool surrounded by trees was amazing. Just floating around looking at the sky through the trees was heavenly. The home cooked Kerala style food by Jency was simply mouthwatering and delicious. They took special care of accomodating our special dietary request as one of us was on a strict diet prescribed by a doctor. We are missing the beautiful place and the dogs and hope to go back soon for another weekend.…
Since the pandemic has subsided, everyone wants to release themselves from their cocoon and set out for a short vacation. So what better way to have a vacation than a home away from home. The homestay I'm talking about is my best friend, sister in law and myself went on a girls only trip to this place. Allywn and Jency were so welcoming that they felt like family immediately. We felt so safe in their presence that we felt comfortable to wear anything and be ourselves. Now let me talk about my favourite part the food. Jency is blessed with " Kaipunyam " (Blessed hands in Malayalam), it literally means whatever she made was absolutely yummy. I am carnivore like most Keralites, but because of her delicious cooking I ate more of the vegetarian dishes than the non. We stayed in a room which had a private pool, just imagine a pool all to yourself. The room was spacious with all the necessary requirements like running hot water, kettle, locker, sofa,AC. On the outside it had a hammock to just relax and breath in fresh air. The area is covered with plants and tree so I felt like I was in some exotic place like Bali. And for all those animal lovers out there, you must visit this place as the family has rescued dogs and cats. But don't worry for those who are not fond of them , the animals were very well behaved. Finally, Allywn and Jency were genuinely two lovely couple who were ready to go to any extent to keep their guest happy and make them feel like home. So I want to give a big shout out to these awesome couples for a great vacation. I will definitely recommend this place to everyone.…
I visit Kerala and India regularly and Marari Dreamz is my favourite go to, it's a perfect paradise ,bougie unique stay with it's cool villas, pools and amazing owners, they make the place Thank you so much to Allwyn and Jency for always looking after me, arranging trips , answering queries, even helping with meds when I hurt leg. Food is legendary, they both go above and beyond to make your stay remarkable. I would live here if I could but now I'm back to UK weather!! Planning next trip, feel revived and I'm even cooking what I learnt from Jency's cooking lesson! No more curry from a jar 😜😜 A beautiful memory, get there and enjoy India
We booked a private pool villa at Dreamz homestay for our wedding anniversary. We came across this place on internet and we chose Dreamz homestay based on the review and are glad that we did. We had a very calm and pleasant 2 nights stay there. Hosts, Allwyn and Jency were very hospitable and felt like home away from home.
Great and amazing place to look forward. Especially the ambience they maintaining is breathtaking. Fantastic stay experience. We had a great experience. This team is highly professional in keeping their place beautiful.
I reallly enjoyed the Ambience that were arranged in the homestay, its all green and mind refreshing. The morning walks in the beach were amazing. The food was one of my favorite part of the stay. They treated us with great care and affection. I'm happy to write this review for the wonderful time i spent at the homestay. Thank you Allwyn 🙏.
The hosts are amazing and really doing everything to make you feel like you want to stay for ever. The place is small, really clean and beautiful interior. The food is cooked with love and is delicious. The beach is just 5 min away, totally empty when we were there in mid April. The area around the stay is very walkable and if you would like to take a short run i the morning, then finishing off with a relaxing swim in the beautiful swimming pools before breakfast. Would recommend anyone to stay here, the kids enjoyed is as much as we did. Amazing to find Swedish books to read during the day in the reception. Thanks Densi and Alwyn!
