Marari dreamz is a small home stay located at the sea shore of Marari beach which is run by a local couple named, Allwyn and Jency who got travelling experience outside India as well as speaks English, Italian and Hindi. Marari dreamz has got four Luxury cottages, each having one air conditioned ensuite double bed rooms fitted with an open sit out which makes you feels like heaven. Two cottages has got a private swimming pool and the other two shares one common pool. You can walk or bicycle (free bikes provided )east in to the village to enjoy the stunning traditional temples surrounded by green paddy fields and huge trees. One can live along with the calm and quit villagers who earn their living from sea. You can explore the village customs and tradition, swim in brackish waters, and attend daily morning yoga classes. In spite of all, you are blessed with an experienced Ayurveda family in our neighborhood where you can experience the real Kerala Ayurveda treatments. Your welcome drink is given by our chef Jency, who can handle all Indian traditional dishes and all modern dishes as per your request in cheap prices. You can enjoy making sand castles, or go for the backwater cruise nearby, and also do check out the coir making units. Precisely saying there is everything here to keep you entertained and engaged.

Best place ever, location is stunning, rooms adorable, with open air bathroom. Our villa was equipped with private pool, it was amazing. Privacy is guaranteed at all times, breakfast and dinner are served personally in the patio of the room, and food was the best ever had in the entire country. Owners are incredible, Allwyn, Jansi and the entire staff are so welcoming that everyone feels like home. An heavenly place in the beautiful garden of India:Kerala!! We had an absolutely perfect stay here. It was a great place to relax and refuel. Allwyn and Jency are great hosts and they’ve worked hard to create a little oasis here. Special mention goes to Jency’s delicious, authentic cooking which was seriously among the best we tasted in Kerala. There’s not a lot of other eating options around so we were only too happy to have dinner there each night. You won’t go hungry. They have a bunch of very friendly dogs whose company we enjoyed, and the staff were all very nice. There’s bikes to use to explore the village roads around, there’s a local bus into Alleppey, Marari Beach is a few minutes walk away and we cycled to the jetty (about 40 mins) to get the ferry over to Kumakarum. We stayed five nights in Cashew Villa which - if it’s available- you should definitely book. Private pool. Open air shower. Little garden. Birdsong. Loungers. Hammock. Hanging chair. Bean bags. It’s got the lot. It really felt like a mini holiday within our three week trip. Highly recommended. Thank you Allwyn and Jenny. 🙏…

I stayed here with my wife for just a couple of nights although we had already visited prior to this as we had stayed at Allwyn and Jency’s other property, Mandaram Villas. Marari Dreamz consists of 3 villas, an apartment and 3 pools. We stayed in the rear villa which had its own private pool. Our room was simply but pleasantly furnished, with air conditioning, and had its own bathroom complete with open air shower. Meals were dished up outside our room and everything we were served was wonderful. If you want your evening meal here too Jency will cook you the most delicious local cuisine. The staff work hard keeping the place tidy, the grounds neat and the pools clean. Marari Dreamz is in a good location, situated on a quiet lane and just a short walk to the beach. There are also bicycles you can use if you want to explore the local area whilst you are here. Allwyn was very helpful and was able to organise day trips out and about to various places of interest. Would I stay here again? Definitely…

The hidden star of Marari Beach I was tempted to not review this hotel because then it will be harder to book in future. Set in a tropical style green garden, with private rooms and a great pool, yet only minutes from a super beach, this is our second visit. Extremely efficiently managed by Alwyn, who is ably supported by Jency, who is an excellent chef, look no further if you want 5 star service, good food and comfort at a price well below that of the 5 Star hotels in the area. Went here along with my wife and our 3 year old and it happened to be one of our cutest getaways. I was amazed to see the effort put in by Allwyn and Jency to run this beautiful home stay. The food served was super delicious to say the least. The hosts were kind of enough to take care of all the needs :-) The pools were pretty good and well maintained. Would love to visit here again.

Great attention is made to the entire site, from the outdoor lounging areas to the pools to the villas - its all fantastic, warm and beautiful. Stayed in the Cashew room, and the private pool was perfect. The sitting area had ample comfortable places to relax, the bed was super comfy, the semi-outdoor shower and bathroom suite was super sweet! This is a private oasis yet just a short walk to the peaceful beach, where the water is warm and waves pleasant, without the busyness of many other beaches in this part of Kerala. Allwyn, Jenci and their lovable pets are incredible hosts. Would highly recommend this gorgeous gem in a stunning and special part of the planet!

We are an Irish couple in our 30s, we stayed as part of our honeymoon trip to Kerala and had a wonderful stay at Marari Dreamz. Allwyn and Jency couldn't have done more to make us feel looked after and welcome, with lots of local tips and things to do, as well as Jency's amazing food- her prawn biryani was one of the best meals we had during our 2 week stay in India! Breakfast and dinner were both delicious, we highly recommend taking your meals at the homestay while you are a guest- having the wonderful food for just the two of us on our private terrace was great. We loved the private pool villa, it was a lovely place to spend time relaxing. Just a note that the private pool area is completely shaded, perfect for a hot day but, if you are looking to sunbathe, you can use the main pool area which does get sun (or the beach, just a 5 minute walk away!) We utilised the complimentary bikes to cycle to the local alcohol store which was within easy cycling distance and was a pleasant ride away from the hectic Kerala traffic thanks to Allwyn's directions. There are mosquitos in the area, as with all places in the area, the staff do burn coconuts to help repel them but we would also recommend bringing some repellant if you react to bites like we do! There is such a warm, friendly feel to Marari Dreamz, not to mention the 5 super friendly dogs and cute kittens! Hopefully one day we will be back!…

We had an amazing time at Marari Dreamz. The property is perfectly located just 5 minutes walk from the beach so you can enjoy beautiful sunsets at night. We also really loved just wandering in the village, go to the nearby temple and have a more local taste of the area. It’s also a great base to go to Alleppey and other more touristy sites. The room was perfect : private pool, beautiful open roof bathroom, hamac to relax, little terrace where delicious meals where served. But most importantly, we felt very grateful to have met Allwyn and Jency who were so kind and also shared with us so much about their country and the local culture ! Cherry on the cake: their adorable dogs and cats that provided us with great company. We cannot recommend this place highly enough!

Again I spent some time with Allwyn and Jency at Marari Dreamz. What was different to my last visit before Covid 19 is four instead of three pools and five instead of one dog. The same was the superb quality of Jency's food, the fantastic room on top of the main building and Allwyn's readiness to fulfill all of my wishes before I even could utter them. This year he took me into the hilly part of Kerala, where roads cry for a 4WD. Even with that the drive was a real challenge, but left me with unforgettable vistas. It was my longest stay at Marari Dreamz so far. The four weeks were over in a jiffy, and again I felt more a friend than a paying guest. Marari Dreamz has earned all the titles it proudly shows. I wish them lots of success in the future.

We had an excellent stay at Marari dreams. Allwyn and Jency have truly created something special. The rooms are unique, clean and with access to a either a private pool or a pool shared with only two rooms. Everything so lovingly created and maintained. For me and my friend the very friendly and well behaved dogs were a bonus. We stayed for three days. Feasted on Jency’s cooking for breakfast and dinner, and experienced this lovely corner of India based on Allwyn’s recommendation. I highly recommend doing backwater cruising, taking the bicycles for a spin and do not miss checking out the fish market.
