This was the 3rd CGH property that we stayed in and by the time we got to Marari Beach we knew what to expect from this hotel group. Excellent quality - bedroom furnishings, outdoor showers, tasteful activities, high quality food and really welcoming staff. Unusually for us we joined in the yoga, meditation sessions and made full use of the...

Stayed for three nights after a strenuous and wonderful holiday. Relaxed amongst the palms and walked the beautiful white beach and soaked up the sun. Accommodation first class, staff excellent, food excellent. Would like to have stayed longer. Butterfly garden on site. We had an owl resident in the eaves of our accommodation. Fabulous place. Nice pool if you don't...

The beach is just a few steps away which is very calm and peaceful. The staff were very accomodating specially sindhu and jenifer at the front desk. They really take care of everything u ask...

This resort probably exceeded my expectations. We booked a garden villa with a pool. The room was large with a very comfortable king sized bed. The bathroom was open air (but not over-looked) and in spite of being worried about mosquitos when going to the bathroom in the middle of the night, it added to the overall ambience of our...

The resort is a 2 hour drive from Kochi airport through busy traffic. We arrived at night so lots of mopeds/bikes with no lights etc. pedestrians in road, tuk-tuks everywhere. Pleasant meeting at reception with coconut drink, map showing facilities and a guided walk to our villa. The resort has around 60 'villas’ in the grounds. We were in No.15...

Marari Beach Resort is truly wonderful. Our stay started with a warm and professional welcome. The room - a bungalow - was extremely comfortable. Very nice swimming pool area and gardens. The restaurant serves very good and diversified food (one of the best during our holidays in India). Beautiful beach (not private but almost deserted; we rented a shadow and...

This place is awesome, breathtaking views, clean sandy beaches, lovely waters for swimming, from here you get backwater canal tours, small shikara for couples which take you the the quaint village backwaters, do recommend that and lunch at a very basic local eatery by these water canals. Nothing fancy

Very nice hotel, lovely pool room. Feels slightly strange as you walk through the grounds to the beach. A very large seemingly unkept area, but it was winter and leaves falling, so forgive this. Helpful staff. On day one the mini 'bar' had one bag of nuts, one soda and one Coca Cola. That was it. The region doesn't offer...

Thankfully we were staying at the much more stylish Xanderi Pearl (would highly recommend) but we decided to try out the restaurant at Marari Beach Resort as it serves wine! It was seriously disappointing. The buffet looked very uninspiring so we went a la carte - a vegetable parmigiana and lamb vindaloo. Both very bland and left half finished. The...

Thatched accommodation was very clean and spacious. Loved the 'outside' toilet shower area. But the drawers were hard to open and often came off the runners! The highlight of our stay was our cooking 'experience' with the chef Arun. Collected the veg and spices needed, prepared and cooked the food, then had the pleasure of eating it accompanied by a...
