We had an excellent stay at MGV the week before Xmas. The manager Ananduh went out of his way to accommodate us in a downstairs room until my husband’s bad back recovered. Everything was clean and the staff were fantastic. The chef Binil cooked us beautiful fish moilee (non-spicy) and we thoroughly enjoyed his food. Would have been good if lunch available as no other places nearby apart from walking to the beach. The gardens were beautifully kept and away from the road noise - lots of bird song and walks in the back lanes. The Xmas decorations were magical!! We would recommend. this lovely place without hesitation.

If possible I would give more than 5 * as a rate for this beautiful. Perfect for single travellers, family with children, couples. It is a short walk to the beach (I saw a dolphin jumping in a sunset light). Bicycles are available for your cycle trips. Wifi works very well. Everything you need you will find as it is written in a description of MGV. There is a swimming pool where you can have a rest and swim and there are many more advantages like amazing people who will take care about your best time in Marari. What to add? I like also singing birds and soft music from the temple during sunrise.

Marari Green Villas is very capability run by Anandhu and his mother, Sulakka. From arranging a Tuk Tuk to visit the temples or arranging a taxi to take us to the airport at 04 AM they were able to fix it with minimal fuss.Even being on hand to say good bye to us was a gesture that we appreciated Marari Green Villas is about 500 metres from the beach, but with the use of one of his bicycles it’s only a 5 minute bike ride to have a swim before breakfast The cottage was well equipped,with a pool view and was very comfortable. King size bed with comfortable pillows, air conditioning and ceiling fan kept the heat at bay Everything was clean and well maintained Having a fridge in the room was wonderful to keep our drinks cool The pool was a godsend as we experienced a heatwave and were able to cool off when the heat became unbearable Breakfast was a great experience. From a starter of a local dish such as dosas or stringhoppers to the second course of eggs of your choice but the masala omelette takes some beating . To finish off with fresh fruit and tea or coffee set you up for the day Anandhu provided a list of recommended restaurants on the beach, which was a great help in deciding where to eat of an evening This was the second time we have stayed at Marari Green Villas and will probably visit again

We stayed 2 weeks there. We were there last year for 4 days with my wife. Marari green villas is the Best place to be. This is a quiet place, with bungalows and rooms. À nice swimming pool, cleaned every day. The staff is really nice , everything you need they do their best to satisfy you. The restaurant is wonderfull, every meal are great. They give you many advices about what you can see around (fishmarket, festival, shops). The beach is at 500m. You can use bicycle for free. Just THE paradise with nice people. Anundu (the owner) and his parents are great people. Go there: no doubt

We stayed at Green Marari Villas for three nights. The stay was really pleasant, the owners took care of every detail and worked hard to make us feel at home. You could tell how important it was to them that we feel comfortable during our stay. The room was clean and tidy, the air conditioner worked great. And the distance to the beach was a few minutes, the pool was also an excellent addition to the vacation. The reservation included breakfast, we arrived with a girl with life-threatening multi-allergies to eggs and diary products and they also took care of pampering dinners and lunches rich in everything good and we thank them for all the effort and investment we feel. One night stop on way back to airport. Hosts were helpful and offered a good price for room and breakfast. There's not much shade around the pool except on the side opposite the rooms. Only complaint was that mosquito larvae hatched in the pool and they made it worse by turning on the pumps so these were swirled around the whole pool rather than being confined to the corners.. Naturally we didn't venture in after that!

Beautiful, well maintained place. Super nice pool with outdoor showers. Churches were far enough and this is very important thing to mention, since churches are always loud and start prayers etc early. This villa was quiet. Standard rooms were extremely nice with big balcony area. Villas with pool view looked nice as well.
This will is owned by beautiful, friendly family who made us feel safe and comfy.
Our family were very pleased and would book this villa again!

We visited this place last week. Awesome place to stay. Very peaceful and if you are going 2-3 families together then it will be more fun. My kids loved it..Beach is very good. It's 600m from this villa. Mr. Ananthu was very helpful and make our stay very comfortable. Breakfast was very yummy. Not much options but we had appam with egg curry which was very good.We Highly recommended to all......

Anandhu and his mom make you feel so very welcome, they helped us with various recommendations and made us an amazing breakfast. The rooms were clean, AC was working well and the bed was very comfortable. The area is a bit difficult for finding good restaurants though. Overall we had a great stay and would recommend you come here!
