Stayed here on a trip around Kerala in May 2019 and was just looking at booking again which I would have sooner if it wasnt for COVID. Jeethu and Mimi are wonderful and treated me like family even plaiting my hair for me in the morning and arranging a tuk-tuk so I could get my brows threaded and buy a silver anklet from town. The food, the beach and peace and quiet were wonderful and I made good friends on this trip who I can't wait to see again.
I wanted to take a moment to share my experience at marari Edens stay.I had asked the host for private beach candle light dinner for my spouse s bday..and the setup was just marvellous ..they had dimlights and candles that made it look even more romantic. The arrangements were just in place as everything went hand in hand. The host took care of everything starting from Champagne to starters till the desserts. The food was delicious and everything was served in time with no space for complaints. I appreciate the dedication and thoughtfulness of Mr.Nidhin in making this bday night unforgettable.
The best place to stay In Alleppey, almost private beach. Very less crowd, candle light dinner arrangement is awesome by them. Price is very affordable. Service is superb. I would love to visit Alleppey again just to stay here. Jithu is a superb host and u get to eat delicious food cooked by his mother.
Clean accomodation whit tasty breakfast (and dinner on order) in calm ambient without tourists. Very friendly family prepares for you chairs and umbrella on the beach. South from the house, ca 10 minutes by walk, there ist a small harbour, where come fishermen every morning.
Marari Edens is an average Homestay.Jithu the owner, is an enthusiastic young boy- very helpful, but the TripAdvisor rating as"5"( excellent) is little bit misleading. There are many places, Jithu has to improve, such as keeping water bottles and glasses inside the room, uninterrupted electric power supply, few more varieties in breakfast menue, some arrangements of evening snakes (ofcourse with charges), keeping arrangements of tea/coffee makings inside the rooms. One should expect these basic things with a charge of rs.2500/- or more per day. Ofcourse Jithu has some manpower problems, but he should think about these.
