We had an amazing time at the Tree of Life Marari Sands Beach Resort in the first week of Jan 2021. The property is very beautiful with only 9 independent cottages and an amazing private beach right infront. We stayed at the palm view cottage for two nights and it was so peaceful with 10/10 for ambience. We could hear the waves from our verandah and had a distant view of the beach too. The pool was closed because of the govt restrictions. But the beach is very clean and you can get in to the sea for a swim safely - lot of good photo oppos too :) . The food is served from a limited set of menu and is little on the expensive side, but it was very tasty and the quantity was also pretty good! Special mention to the restaurant staff who was so very helpful with our needs! We always got our food on time! There are no shops nearby, so if you want to stock some snacks and soft drinks, I would recommend you to buy it as you come. The place is pet friendly with lot of open spaces for the pets to walk around and they can happily stay at the cottage verandah too. I also would like to mention my thanks to Ajith who was really welcoming and made our stay special. I would have given all 5 stars if it was not for the maintenance part. For the price we paid, we would have loved someone giving us toiletries and water without us reminding and following up on the second day of our stay. Also it would have been good if the beach beds were properly cleaned and sanitized on a daily basis. Also if you are driving to the place via Aleppey, it would be good to check with the staff on the route as a particular road stretch is closed for maintenance. Overall we are very happy with the experience and we had an amazing time!

We stayed at Cottage room 104 overlooking coconut trees and sea. The cottage was quite spacious with beautiful washroom which had open air shower. Beach seems completely private as there is no disturbance of locals or other tourists. Food was really tasty and staff for extremely polite. Thank you team for making our stay memorable.

A wonderful green and quiet resort at the beach with friendly staff. The bungalows are cosy, comfortable and clean! The staff is very helpful. We came early and got towels for the beach and pool. Also after the check out we were allowed to use one of our two rooms for another four hours.

Horrible stay at Tree of Life Sands Beach Resort, Marari. My name is Mr. Gaurav Sharma and we have booked our stay at Tree of Life Marari from 01-02 Mar’2020 for 01 Night under confirmation number 0065394113 (Palm Cottage Room). On arrival we were awestruck by the beauty of location and thought this would a perfect location and hotel for our honeymoon however everything vanished once we were allotted a room. The AC was not working properly and they took almost 90 minutes for the repair and to our surprise AC stopped cooling again within next 30 min. You can imagine the amount of time we have wasted (2 hours plus) with no solution. Being on honeymoon this would be a worst decision to stay here. Finally Hotel Manager who was so busy in his work spoke to us and allotted us another room but again there is a problem. Washroom roof was open (see pics attached), I have asked them to give us proper room and not like this but hey kept insisting that there won’t be any issues due to it. It is totally different from what they show on their website. We were forced to sleep in same room without any refund inspite of having their mistake. They have assured us thet nothing will happened due to open roof but unfortunately we couldn’t slept whole night. Chirping sounds of insects was easily audible whole night from open roof and to surprise while taking a shower we have encountered with a frogs inside washroom. What worst they expect from it, still they rudely showing their attitude and have done nothing to make us happy. If your full hotel was sold out it doesn’t means that we have not paid to you and you should have not given us or anybody else that faulty room. Worst service from a hotel of per night price of 7000+. I have taken this issue very seriously and will be complaining against you in FHRAI and Kerala Tourism dev corp. The time you have wasted would not come again. You spoiled our whole trip.

We had a wonderful week at Marari Sands - the staff were very friendly, welcoming and helfpul. The resort is wonderfully quiet, with beautifully kept grounds and a pristine beach within a few minutes of your room. The pool was right outside my room so easy to have a quick dip at any time of day. The room was spacious and clean and the bed very comfortable. We ate every night at the resort and the food was excellent. I'd highly recommend staying here.
