Everything is a struggle here.Muddy water in bathroom to no proper running restuarant.was given another room and then ac remote not operational in that room. No telephone in room.Location is excellent.but property lacks maintenance.Resort manager Arun is ever helpful ,but guess he has his hands tied as this property lacks maintenance.
The hotel itself is clean but the beach is filthy and people defecate next to the beach, not a pleasant sight in the morning. The food was excellent and the service good. Shame there were no female staff, again reflection of a male dominated society. Not value for money as it is expensive and definitely not a 5 star accommodation .
We had a villa/cottage for 3 of us. The location is Secluded as the name suggests and is situated in a peaceful , not so busy place in Marari. The property has direct access to the beach making it the perfect location. It has easy access to the city as well. The property was green and the weather while we were there was extremely pleasant. The highlights of our stay was the pool and the open bathroom. Would recommend for a break from the hustle and bustle to just chill and relax. The staff was extremely cordial and the food had a very homely feel to it.
We wanted a relaxing day from all the work and hustle and gratefully thats what me and my friends got from Seclude. Totally enjoyed our time in the property. Best part is definitely going to the beach and spotting the crabs!!! Can't wait to be back!!
They don’t have room dining facility no liquor available also the management is very poor . Swimming pool was not operational had paid 6700 but it’s only for the location , as a property they miserably failed in our expectations. Would suggest other property at this price and same location that are better than seclude kerela .
Really loved this property especially the food. Staff is also very nice and humble. They also have a beach access where you can have a peaceful time with your family. I think you all should visit to this property.
Our stay was for 1 day and it was amazing. The rooms were clean and tidy. The main perk is their private beach. If you like to walk and photograph, there are lots of Instagram friendly spots in resort. Only one small suggestion I have is to provide complimentary breakfast as a buffet style apart from that food taste is good and staff is courteous.
Amazing and serene place away from the hustle and bustle of the city. Just a one min walk from the beautiful Marari beach. The property is huge and well maintained. Me and hubby along with our furry baby, our golden retriever spend the weekend there and it was just amazing!!!! Nicely maintained property, very kind staff members and amazing food served. The resort is 100% pet friendly and we were very happy n comfortable during our stay. I would be definitely visiting this place again.❣️❣️ A note to the prospective travellers- For the love of God, please please do not litter the beach area. The resort staffs are trying their level best to keep the area clean, but i found some very pathetic irresponsible travellers who visited the resort littered the beach area insanely with chocolate wrappers, food wastes, snacks packets, used baby diapers🤢, and what not. Just that we pay at the resort doesnt give us any right to make the area dirty. There are “Use Me” waste bins kept at prime locations yet people tend to throw wastes near the beach which is pathetic!!! My question is- would you do the same at your own house too?? Be a responsible traveller. If you carry your furr baby there, do keep poop bags with you to scoop it up and throw it in the bin kept there.…
The trip spoiled from the time of check-in itself.the way they welcomed, nobody was bothered about to sanitize our luggages and to help in shifting to the room .The guest itself has to take the luggage to the room. The room has been booked one month prior still has given a corner room with the view only to the waste dumbing area. And the activities mentioned is all fully money oriented. We requested for a candle light dinner which we have to go back them twice or thrice for the same. They mentioned about a good amount of setup charge, ,which they charged high price for only putting a table, chair and 2 candles ..with out any flowrets or any other set up..for that only they charged a high amount from us.we spent 2& half hrs over the table and they didnt bothered even to serve a glass of water to us & nobody came even to ask for any otherthings and has not even provided with a finger bowl after the meal. And we were not able to make a good sleep because of the noise from outside aswell as some sound was disturbing from th top of the roof aswel. And we went for the checkout by mrng and they again made us to wait by the front office staff We won't recommend this property any more to friends as you cannot enjoy your vaccations and its not value for money aswel…
We had an amazing time at the Tree of Life Marari Sands Beach Resort in the first week of Jan 2021. The property is very beautiful with only 9 independent cottages and an amazing private beach right infront. We stayed at the palm view cottage for two nights and it was so peaceful with 10/10 for ambience. We could hear the waves from our verandah and had a distant view of the beach too. The pool was closed because of the govt restrictions. But the beach is very clean and you can get in to the sea for a swim safely - lot of good photo oppos too :) . The food is served from a limited set of menu and is little on the expensive side, but it was very tasty and the quantity was also pretty good! Special mention to the restaurant staff who was so very helpful with our needs! We always got our food on time! There are no shops nearby, so if you want to stock some snacks and soft drinks, I would recommend you to buy it as you come. The place is pet friendly with lot of open spaces for the pets to walk around and they can happily stay at the cottage verandah too. I also would like to mention my thanks to Ajith who was really welcoming and made our stay special. I would have given all 5 stars if it was not for the maintenance part. For the price we paid, we would have loved someone giving us toiletries and water without us reminding and following up on the second day of our stay. Also it would have been good if the beach beds were properly cleaned and sanitized on a daily basis. Also if you are driving to the place via Aleppey, it would be good to check with the staff on the route as a particular road stretch is closed for maintenance. Overall we are very happy with the experience and we had an amazing time!…
