Ayleen and Raynolds have a lovely home and are just super friendly. Nothing is too much for them. The guest house is not far from the beach if you want to walk. The rooms are exceptionally clean and the food is amazing.

Fantastic homestay

From the moment Reynolds picked us up from our hotel I know we was in for a good homestay. Reynalds and his wife Aileen made us feel so welcome into their home. They have a beautiful spotlessly clean house which is very modern and new,Aileen's cooking was amazing we only ate there which was breakfast and dinner but if you wanted anything for lunch Aileen would have prepared something for you. If you wanted tea or coffee you could just help yourself in the kitchen. Our room and bathroom were large with plenty of storage and spotlessly clean we also had the use of your own living room with television and a sun terrace with wicker furniture. Reynolds and Aileen were the perfect host I could highly recommend this beautiful homestay and we will be back again.

Brilliant 1 night stay for myself & 3 friends

From the moment we arrived Reynolds and Ailin looked after us with a very warm welcome! They had got in touch beforehand to ask our arrival time so a delicious home-cooked dinner could be prepared for our arrival, and the room was clean, tidy and had drinks in the fridge waiting for us! They were also more than helpful in washing some laundry for us whilst we were out for the day! We took two double rooms which share a communal lounge area but each have an en-suite. The facilities are fantastic and modern for a homestay. Close by is Marari beach (10 minute walk) and local facilities, shops, massage/spa etc. but the real treat at Alma homestay is the hosts! The owner is also a taxi driver by trade and can help get you to onwards destinations, or in our case the airport. Thanks so much for having us!…

Confortable stay with welcoming hosts

We really enjoyed our stay in Alma. Ayleen and Raynolds were so welcoming to us, that it felt like home from the very first second. We came as a family of 4 people, and lived in two comfortable rooms, where there was enough space for all of us. The facilities are very good. The villa is located quite close to the Marari beach, which is really clean and, what is most pleasing, not crowded. Ayleen and Raynolds cooked very delicious dinner for us, and we spent a nice evening with them, having interesting talks. It was really sad to leave that place.

Lovely stay !

Hi everyone ! I stayed at Alma Homestay for a few days in February 2017. I definitely recommend this homestay ! I had a lovely time there thanks to Aileen and Reynolds who were always doing their best to answer my questions and requests. They were very helpful and also very flexible. I totally felt at home there. Aileen is a great cooker, the meals were always different and very tasty. The house is clean, modern and comfortable. The room I got upstairs was big with two double beds and air conditioning. The wifi connection was excellent. The location is great, close to the nice Marari beach, the backwaters and the Panchakarma center where you can get massages. It is definitely a nice stop, either for a short or longer stay. You can absolutely go for it !
