The hotel is right on the beach, just walk down the stairs. The grounds and walkways of the hotel are very pretty. Plants, trees, stone walkways and walls. The place is very eco friendly. They have pools and Jacuzzis outside very close to the beach. The staff there are very friendly and the security guys are very friendly. There is... More

I stayed in the royal suite for 4 nights and it was the perfect place for me. Beach in front main part of town mins walk or moto-taxi. Upon checkout I even received a reduced rate that I wasn't expecting but it was a very nice surprise. The royal suite is a huge modern suite with kitchen. My compliments to... More

I've stayed at El Magnifico several times over the last year. It's a special hotel being right on the ocean. Everyone highlights the plus and minus of the rooms, so I will focus instead on why I keep coming back. The hotel grounds are a photographer's dream with lush gardens and amazing walkways between the buildings. The Yoga studio across... More

This is a beautiful hotel with a great location. It is located in walking distance to the main strip of Cabarete, 1 minute away from the super market, and far enough from the road to not hear all the cars and motor cycles. The staff is also very nice and helpful. Highly recommended as long as you do not need... More

We stayed in the penthouse in building four in the first week of March. Three people. There are two bedrooms and three bathrooms, plus an additional outdoor shower on the roof deck. The master bedroom has a great view and a nice breeze, and the constant sound of the ocean, which I really enjoyed and miss back at home. The... More

I was looking forward to staying at El Magnifico and chose to stay there the longest (out of the 3 hotels that I visited) during my trip to the Dominican Republic.... I was EXTREMELY disappointed in almost every aspect of my experience there. The cost is fairly high, in comparison with other hotels in the area, and so I was... More

We stayed in the two bedroom, three bathroom, four balconied unit with rooftop terrace in Building Six. We are two parents with two teens and a preteen. This was more than enough space for us to feel at home. As we are very familiar with Cabarete, you cannot beat the location. You are within a three minute walk of Janet's... More

We stayed in the presidential penthouse of building four (rooms 14 & 14A). We had three bedrooms if you include the loft area. I felt safe and secure there. We had A/C and TVs (with cable) in two of the bedrooms. There is a grocery store around the corner and we didn't realize it until we were there for a... More

This was one of my best hotel stays in DR. Great room, great view, great price. Has a small private viewing beach and a five minute walk to Cabarete Beach. So many good restaurants right on the beach. The hotel has two pools and is a two minute walk from large supermarket called Janets. Also loved that checkout was at... More

We only stayed here one night before getting up early to drive to SDQ, but it was pretty memorable. Our condo faced the ocean and the cool-water jacuzzi, really gorgeous. The walk from the main office to our room was beautiful - they do a terrific job of keeping up the gardens spread throughout the place. The beach directly in... More
