Stay in the apartments in the main building, not in the bungalows behind the pool. They are much nicer and quieter. Great location just steps from the beach, stores and restaurants. Cleaning lady was rude but that's probably because she was working on new years day. Overall worth the prime location.

So, this place was pretty cheap, only a 2 minute walk from the beach. The rooms were okay, nothing to brag home about, and my particular room had an adjoining balcony. The sliding glass door for this room had no lock so I had to pray no one would enter my room and steal my things. There's tons of young...

Really cheap hotel but it is not worth it. Go somewhere else. Rooms need heavy maintenance. Window nets were broken, water was dropping down on my head in bathroom, broken ellectric sockets, no hot water. A/C worked.

I've stayed at the Kaoba over 10 times. Always good bang for your buck! You get a clean room, hot water and a ceiling fan. For 5 bucks more you get AC. Out of all the times I've stayed there a couple of rooms have been in really bad condition. Management needs to keep a close eye on this! Some...

We spend very little time in the room so it wasn't until the 2nd day that we noticed that our room didn't...

We got into Cabarete at 9.30pm in bad weather also very tired after a long bus journey from Punta Cana. The first place I had been advised of was full so we tried the Hotel Kaoba. They had rooms so we decided to stay and sort out long term accommodation the next day. The boy on reception was missing when...

I stayed at the Hotel Kaoba for 5 days. This time around, I enjoyed that the hotel has wifi- throughout the building and even out in the pool. Great to sit on their balcony overlooking the street with morning coffee - and your Ipad to keep in touch. The bar is opened to later and there are locals that come...
