We went as a a family group with wife, son, and wife and 3 year old grandaughter for 7 days. The cabin we stayed at was adjoined with kitchenette raised "porch" between the cabins. Beautiful large rooms with all stone bathrooms, fully air conditioned and fans. The whole grounds was really an eco-resort with their own gardens for the meals, right on their own beach and a quarter mile away an a path is a long 2 mile deserted beach. The different cabins were well spaced apart with nice privacy and the grounds were well cared for every day with maintenance. The best part was the meals. Every morning fresh fruit with a wide options of addtional dishes. The dinners included fresh vegetables and fish or meat with good variety for eating there every day. The staff were wonderful and friendly, enjoyed helping the 3-year old learn some Spanish words. The front desk helped arrange local treats like diving, snorkeling, horse back riding (on the beach). Would highly recommend for any family vacation.

Travelled with a friend and spent a week at Natura cabana. Ideally situated in Perla Marina between Sosua and Cabarete, it offers tranquility and great walking paths while offering close proximity to the towns and walking to the mercado for beers and snacks. The two bdrm bungalow near the pool was very clean and comfortable and more than adequate for our needs. The ocean there is a bit rough but great if you enjoy playing in the waves. Only 12 bungalows nestled in a private residential area meant you could easily carve out a quiet place for yourself on the beach at the hotel or on nearby almost deserted beaches. Did a few excursions: hired Max, taxi driver, who took us to Puerto Plata for the day, did SUP with Rugama Tours on the quiet river and ate a sumptuous lunch there and went into Cabarete for an afternoon to watch the kite surfers and partake in happy hour! We did one morning yoga class which we totally enjoyed. Breakfast and lunch were both really good, the coffee delicious. We also enjoyed the pizza at the Ceiba Cafe, a short walk away. The staff are amazing and dedicated and will go the extra mile to ensure you enjoy your vacation. Highly recommend this place! :)

Cannot say enough good things about this hotel! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this little serene beach location. The setting was nestled on the beach with enough tree-lined area to stay out of the sun when needed. Between this and the adjacent hotel, 4 different areas to eat and get drinks right on the beachfront. Stone huts were lovely, ours had an outdoor living room overlooking the shaded pool. Food was great at both restaurants and breakfast was included in our price. Yoga hut, outdoor funny gym, and a beachfront trail to walk down to other beaches. Staff was great and very friendly.

Beautiful Eco Resort on a stunning beachfront property. The Cabanas are nicely kept and furnished with all the comforts of home. Refreshing pool and shady sitting areas surrounding. Loved the Yoga studio with ocean views and the spa treatments were very relaxing. The two restaurants serve delicious, healthy meals with several options available. The Smoothies are a must-have! The ocean is soothing with the rolling waves, but when we were there it really was not safe for swimming. I went in and had a very hard time getting out due to the undertow and heavy waves. This is the perfect setting for a relaxing getaway in nature. Also, great for families and large groups as the Cabanas hold several people.

This place was simply beautiful. Every cabin was different, made with materials from the area. My room was sooo cool with a lot of wood and lattice with screens instead of glass, so I could hear the rain. The staff was so accommodating. They remembered our names and rooms which made it easy to charge things to our room. The food was great, and they had delicious banana mama drinks that I’ve been missing. There are so many cool activities you can do nearby. I’ll never forget this place. Everything was wonderful.

Wonderful. Our room (La Laja) was large and had an outdoor sitting area with comfy seats, and a sitting hammock. Comfortable beds, sound of the ocean at night. Restaurant is great, staff friendly and helpful. Beach very pretty, a bit too rough for swimming. Located at the end of a gated community and very safe.

We walked into Natura Cabana and were greeted with the quietest, most peaceful environment I've ever experienced for a beachside hotel. The grounds are gorgeous and the pool and beach are heavenly. The staff were extremely warm and friendly and connected us to a fantastic guide for beach and waterfall excursions. I also loved the massage and we enjoyed our restaurant meals. You definitely have to be comfortable with no air conditioning, and waiting for hot water, and we used the mosquito nets over the beds to avoid some small flying friends (not mosquitoes) landing on us when the lights were out. Overall, I loved this place and would happily return for a relaxing stay in paradise.

Such a helpful and friendly staff! Cool uniquely build cabanas. Two restaurants on-site serve very fresh, very deliciously prepared choices. Halfway between Cabarete and Sosua by taxi, 25-minute walk to Encuentro beach surf shack. Enjoy!

If you want a real Dominican experience, this is not the place. Beach is great but it seems to be a place to get away from Dominicans and do yoga while eating bland food.

On top of that, I was woken up at 7am by the yoga/palates instructor yelling "1-2-3 woo-hoo! Good job!" Bc the cabins have no windows and a net for a roof. No bueno.

Location it's beautiful but this is on an HOA street where it seems there's only Europeans. I came for Dominican culture and food. I could've went in Malibu/Cali for this. Going from a private villa for our wedding with real Dominican food to this was definitely a downgrade. I don't recommend.

Just returned from a week at Natura Cabana and like previous reviewers, we had a wonderful experience. We stayed in Coral, which was clean and has a lovely upstairs porch for looking out on palm trees and geckos. The restaurants served healthy and delicious food; service from everyone was excellent. We appreciated the daily tending of the resort grounds and constant surveillance from the security staff. The beach is beautiful but a bit too rough for us to go in beyond our knees. This was the perfect spot to get away from screens and other electronic distractions.

No A/C's, ceiling fans around and basically everything - whole place - is open to the air. I am used to A/C generally, but I quite enjoyed not having artificial temperature ... for few days...
