This resort is not in one of the touristy areas of the Dominican Republic. It takes a few hours to get there, but well worth the effort. The surrounding areas and villages are one of the few "old Caribbean" experiences you can find. Rural, rustic and exceptionally friendly people. In this part of the DR you will not find a better romantic place. Food is far above any restaurant as well. Peaceful, quiet, romantic. Spa is impressive with great staff, rooms are elegant, textured. Staff have been there for many years and know how to treat customers right. Been visiting this gem for 20 years.

Rooms have hot water and the view is beautiful. Be aware that mosquitos may be around since the rooms are near a mountain. But in my case there was...

The good: position and view, pool, restaurant and bar are in a stunning setting, well maintained and tastefuly decorated. The atmosphere is very casual. The pool and bar service are good. The rooms are a bit of a let down as they are...

Myself and a friend were looking forward to trying this restaurant do to the lovely views and hearing about the organic garden. The service was quite personal and consistent, the views as expected were amazing. The scenery alone was worth a drop by lunch or dinner alone. The food was a bit shy of volume but was generally quite tasty,...
