We joined a social entrepreneur tour for a couple days and spent a fun night with a group of inspiring ladies in this wonderful homestay. You really get the best of everything with this homestay. The modern building, rebuilt with massive family loans after the earthquake, is perched atop a hill with balconies, a roof terrace and almost 360 degree...

This homestay changed my life! The family was so hospitable, welcomed us like family, taught us so much and fed us like kings! Fulmaya's story is incredible, be sure to read her story during your stay. The rooms were the best we've stayed in as backpackers in a long time. Very clean and modern, with an insane view. We were...

Bhattedanda homestay and the Tamang family is a gem in Dhulikhel. I have known them over a couple years and continue to stay with them on occasion. Fulmaya didi, Dhawa dai, Akash, and Srijana are great hosts, and they welcome you as a family right away. Meals are always delicious and made from freshly harvested produce from the garden. 2015...

We were greeted by happy and warm faces; they didn't really expected us but in any case they served us amazing food (they will shortly open a restaurant...obviously strongly recommended!), they really took care of us! Our room was...

I went to Dhulikel not knowing what to expect. The Homestay was organised for me. When I arrived it was in a very rural part of the country. I was greeted by the happiest and warmest faces I have ever seen. I was immediately given a tour of the area along with the work they are doing to help the...

Often when in Nepal you stay in the tourist areas of the cities- Thamel, Lakeside etc. I wanted to experience how Nepali's really lived and so I stayed at the Bhattedanda Homestay for three days in September. The experience I had was wonderful- emotional and eye-opening. I saw first hand the culture and lifestyle of the Nepali people who live...
