Ajmer is a major pilgrimage town for Indian Muslims and the number of pilgrims we saw on Friday was just incredible. We decided to stop off here and have a look at the 'dargah'- a kind of Sufi tomb, before heading on to the hippe hangout of Pushar (on the other side of the mountain). While this hotel is conveniently...

We had early check in at 4 am, though we have booked 4 bedded single room, since it is not vacant, the receptionist upon request gave us 2 single rooms of 2 bedded each without extra charge. We were very happy with this approach of customer service. Food is excellent, we had lunch & also have taken parcel from there...

I'as in hell. The rooms were appropriate as per cost but there's a marriage hall behind it blaring madly as U try to sleep. Beware about that. U might like the food but there's noise from everywhere U can think and U can't bear that. U gotta sleep, have sleeping pills or poison instead. I hate it, really.

Ajmer as a city is worth visiting for just a day. Not because the place is bad, but because it is small; few and good places to visit. For the intended duration, this backpacking location is very good. Nice staff and budget. Only thing lacking is cleanliness, looks like it is rarely cleaned. The dirt has settled. If you can...

I started my Rajasthan tour on September 10, 2013 and this was my first stop. All my hotels, itinerary etc were decided before hand. The people in this hotel were very friendly and cooperative and that is why this gets 4 stars. The rooms were dirty and noone bothered to clean even on asking. But the location was perfect close...
