Located 100 - 200 metres away from the Gondola, one cannot ask for more from a hotel for a ski trip. The hotel was clean, centrally heated, beautiful and offered both hot water in the bathrooms and delicious food (both equally important in negative temperatures) all 24 hours of the day. Unfortunately, there is not much one can do in Gulmarg after sunset in the winters and you are stuck in the hotel. There isn't a better place to be stuck in Gulmarg.

We (2 families) stayed here for 3 nights. We earlier planned to stay for 2 nights but had to extend as the road to srinagar was blocked due to heavy snow.
Right from the entry to the hotel to checking out and every thing in between was good. We booked it using cleartrip.com (you may book directly with hotel as well)
Pros Location.. right in front of ice skating ring (though it was closed) with in walking distance from Gandola ride and skiing shop Ambiance is great Everything is clean. Restaurant is good though service is a bit slow. Heating is excellent( it was continuously snowing for 2 nights) and we were still feeling warm inside. Bathroom is heated as well. They have swing kit, medical kit along with regular dental shaving one. No power outages even during power cuts (Hotel genset work well) Helpful staff( As our vodafone post paid was not working hotel staff offered there personal phones (airtel / jio works) Security guard was very helpful (sorry I forgot the name) Awesome views from windows. Cons They actually charge for child above 6 years which most of the hotels in India (including other high end ones like Taj) waive off. Away from local market (but do we care?) Water supplied in taps is some time not clean.
Overall if you want to enjoy your stay in gulmarg in harsh winters of January, this is the hotel to go.

The reception/ front office Aijaz Ahmad and Rayess Ahmad and the finest human beings you will ever meet. They are exceptionally well mannered and very warm to receive the guests. They went out of their way to give service, be it room allotment or be it any thing required- they never made us wait even for a minute. When we left we forgot the rented shoes back in the hotel, I called them and they spoke to the shopkeeper and assured that they will send the shoes with the staff and the next day morning the shopkeeper called saying the hotel has delivered it and the front office team also confirmed it to me. Exceptional service and great staff truly...
The delivery staff of luggage is very prompt and professional.
Room service is extremely good and efficient. Rooms are cleaned nicely daily. 3 days spent were truly nice.
Rooms are very classy and in Kashmiri style, we stayed in 103 on the ground floor. Only drawback of this room is that it is opposite the play area where sometimes people making loud noises at night can be disturbing if ur an early sleeper like us.
Staff in the restaurant is excellent, all the meals we had were good. The only suggestion and feedback is to have better sweet and also a drink option available in dinner.
Overall a five star experience thanks to the staff and team.

Just a few steps away from Gondola, This property was surrounded by snow, We had our stay there in the last week on March 2022, The Hotel has an authentic touch attached to it, along with all the modern amenities which are required for a comfortable Holiday. To be precise, The Executive room which we had booked was absolutely clean with super comfortable bed & pillows, Washrooms well kept with good quality toiletries, Room Heaters were place, Extra beds were comfortable too, The Restaurant served good food, We loved the Biryani, which we had ordered apart from our buffet menu. The Hotel Staff was courteous & friendly, Our luggage was well taken off by the helpers. , The front desk was very help full too, initially out of 3 rooms, they had to give us one very small room which couldn't accommodate 2 adults & 1 kid along with their bags ( probably it can accommodate a solo traveller) On our request, they changed/ upgraded it to the family room. The Height of their Hospitality doesn't end only at the hotel, one of us had left our Hand bag with a few precious belongings in the Hotel corridor at the check out, The General Manager Mr. Hamid, made sure that we got back our things at our Srinagar Hotel, before we left from Kashmir. Surprise was, that because we were staying at the Kolahoi property, we got the discount of our food bills at their Cafe/ restaurant at Gondola Phase 1. I would highly recommend this Hotel for families & group travellers.

We stayed at Kolahoi Gulmarg in March. The hotel is very well located, walking distance from the gandola, ski slope, Khyber, ice skating rink, etc. The hotel has an igloo cafe as well. The views from the rooms are quite dreamy and lovely. The rooms are clean and well maintained, with radiators installed in the room and bathroom to ensure you don't freeze in that extreme temperature. Snow and larger than life pine trees all around the hotel. The restaurant didn't quite get our orders right as per our taste buds, however the hotel manager Shabbir is very polite and made sure our food requests were taken care of and we didn't have problems thereafter. A special mention to Mehboob as well from the wait staff who ensured our food requests were taken care of. All in all, would recommend to stay there for your holiday in Gulmarg.

This was my second trip to gulmarg and i had not even a single doubt to book kolahoi green heights again this time as my last stay here was so cozy and comfortable.
Kolahoi green heights is the best hotel in gulmarg in terms of best location ( 2 min walk to gondola and golf course , centre of all winter activities) amazing views of snow covered golf course and peaks. Centrally heated , tasty food , exellent staff and above all terrific hospitality.
This time I staright away called Mr.Ishfaq in reservations and he helped me throughout for getting 5 nights stay booked here well in advance as the hotel was almost sold out on those dates cuz of long weekend. Mr. Ishfaq is such a gentleman that he allotted us the best club room with most amazing views in hotel keeping in mind our long stay as well as we being regular guests.
During our stay of 22nd to 27th Jan 21 the Igloo restaurant was also inaugurated which happened to be kashmir's first and Asia's biggest igloo. We were invited specially on the inauguration and were welcomed by the owner himself.
I suggest you all to go for Kolahoi green for gulmarg trip without giving second thought. Just book it and they make sure your trip is one of your best ones.
Although all staff and whole team is so humble polite and exellent still a few names to mention are Mr. Ishfaq in reservations, Mr. Mashroof on fromt desk and Mr.Asif in Restaueant and room service who will leave no stone unturned to make you feel home

This was our 2nd time at Kolahoi Green Gulamrg. Everything about the hotel is perfect Right from the doorman to housekeeping to restaurant staff. Covid protocol were in place like cleaning, hygiene and the staff wearing mask at all times
Food quality is amazing. Rooms are well heated
Location of the hotel is best for tourist and skiers
Special thanks to Mr Haamid who was very welcoming

Enjoyed a family skiing vacation last week at Gulmarg. Our stay at Kolahoi Green was excellent. The hotel is located a few minutes’ walk from the Gondola ride as well as the ski slopes.
Rooms are cozy, clean, and well appointed. The bathrooms are modern and fully functional. We had two interconnected rooms with great views of the snow-covered landscape as well as the mountains. The property is centrally heated and hence very comfortable even in -7 degrees weather.
Food was very good. At our first meal, we expressed our disappointed that there was no traditional Kashmiri food available. However, this was promptly made available on special order the next day and was beyond expectations.
The staff is very friendly, courteous and willing to assist in every way possible, including helping our children make a Snowman!
I would highly recommend this hotel to everyone.

I have just recently stayed in the property along with my wife, the pros about the property is its situated at a walking distance from Gandola Phase Ride , the breakfast rooms or the dining room is really adorable on pretext to interiors so is the common refreshment room , I would really like to add here the staffs of this property are very very courticious , they are very prompt helpful and always have a smile on there face write from the dining , to lobby to reception to room service , all of thecteam members are well trained for instance -Azaz from room service really assisted Me with a prompt room service, also coming to the room the fragrance/ aroma provided was really nice so are the beds 🛌 they felt quite comfortable along with bathing accessories.
Cons :-
I didn't find value for money in room stay as room seizes felt quiet small and there was power cut quiet a few times in my room though the issue was addressed by team but it happened quiet often , I also felt wifi speed was not very fast, one more suggestion would be to have more variety in breakfast .
Overall it was a good stay 😌, I felt the best thing about Kalhoi Green Heights is the hospitality of there staffs write from entry where a guard is positioned till the room service ! Cheers 🍻 to the team !

We booked two club rooms directly through Ishfaq Safi their Sales Manager, he suggested us club rooms which are spacious, Must say the rooms are not only spacious but extremely comfortable, with a view of the meadow. The interiors are also extremely appealing with beautiful carpets and velvet curtains giving u a feel of luxury. Last but not the least the room service and food taste were spot on. A minor complaint wud be ,expected a better breakfast spread . Will be visiting in winters now, when the meadow turns WHITE and experience this Snowland. Hopefully will be able to visit level 2 gondola then, had to return back after waiting for hours with line not moving in summers. The well carpeted Hotel with beautiful interiors in common areas always make you feel cosy and comfortable here. Exceptional room service ,walking distance to Gondola and extremely comfortable rooms make this Quality Hotel, a Top choice for me.
