This hotel is average in China. Their shower leaked into the bathroom floor and rough finishing all around. Many things were a bit used and not quite clean. Unfortunately can't comment on their breakfast buffet, due to an early flight.

It was clean and close to a lot of things. We could walk to restaurants, shopping and sight seeing. The rooms were warm the air conditioning was not on at the time we were there. Wonderful staff and cafe in the hotel itself.

I recently stayed here on a business trip. The hotel reception is a bit hard to find at first as it is shared with offices. However a short lift ride and you then enter the hotel. Really friendly and helpful staff, the rooms are very good, spacious and very modern. Breakfast is traditional Chinese, so don't expect your bacon!

We stayed at this hotel while we were visiting friends and a trip to wu tai mountain. I booked an apartment for 4 adults only to find a very spacious apartment and one bed. After arguing with the bell boy the manager finally turned up. Anther half hour of complaining just asking for a fold down bed they finally give...

This was a clean comfortable hotel with a view over city. Although appears orientated to business people I found the staff friendly and helpful. Enjoyed an evening meal and buffet breakfast during my stay. The next morning headed to Jinci temple and the Qiao Jia Dayuan before driving to Pingyao.

The hotel room was very nice but the carpet was not vacuumed before I checked in. The cleaning staff took a very long time to clean the rooms. Breakfast buffet had excellent selection. The staff as extremely slow to get coffee and/or refills. Hotel restaurants were overpriced. Would recommend getting the Shanxi noodles from room service were very tasty and...

This hotel is well set up for the business traveler and is the first time I found a room with its own WiFi router assuring excellent internet service 24/7. Most of the staff spoke excellent English including those on the service staff. The room had no hint of smoke and everything in the room has in order except for the...

We arrived into Taiyuan late and stayed here en-route to Pingyao. It served its purpose as somewhere to sleep and eat. It may have been 5 stars when it was built but isn't anymore. Parts of the building have fallen away and haven't been repaired. A non-smoking room means no smoking in the room (presumably ignored by many), but you...

“Get a North, South or west view. The "City view" is actually banged right up against the twin tower, so instead of a nice skyline you have office workers staring into your room from fifty yards away.”
