This was our last night in the Tanzanian wilderness. It was a beautiful view, good buffet and rooms were comfortable. The drive from here to the crater floor was very short - an added benefit. Comfortable stay overall. Definitely worth staying here for the view alone.

This hotel, was the fanciest hotel we stayed in our entire Safari trip. We chose it for the views of the Crater which were beautiful . One could see for miles. - not a light to be seen as darkness approached. Like the other lodges we needed to have a guide with us as we returned to our rooms after dark....

overall a very good experience. This is a large lodge comfortable but definitely not luxurious. Does not have an intimate feel. The location can't be beat - both because of the amazing view over the crater and the very close location to the road to the canyon floor.Food was very good. Hot water not available after 8pm but the staff...

For the price I was disappointed. The staff was friendly, the views were great and it is the closet place to stay if you want to access the crater fast. However the rooms are in need of renovation and maintenance. The food was bland, the chicken was under-cooked and the fruit wasn't ripe. The pool wasn't clear, not that we...

This lodge is only a 10 minute drive from the crater floor on a not so steep descent road. There is hot water for showers from 5 AM to 8 AM (takes several minutes to heat up), and again from 5 PM to 8 PM, but the hotel has 24 hour electricity. They had good heaters and hot water bottles...

We stayed for two nights after coming back from Serengeti. The place has the most beautiful view over the crater and the entrance to the ngorongoron crater is very close. We normally don't like places where they have room for 200-300 people but this accommodation was charming and had several areas so it was not crowded. The rooms are good...

Lovely hotel with great views over the crater. Perfect place to stay as part of your trip to Ngorogoro. The drinks were normal Western prices (not cheap but OK) and the food was good with a wide variety of options.

First off the view from this hotel is amazing. A lot better angle than the viewing point which is full of people, here you get to enjoy the sun set over the crater is total (relatively speaking) tranquillity. The service and food, although nothing exceptional is good. Where the hotel really does let you down though are its rooms. Old...

A beautiful lodge with a beautiful view. Big spacious rooms and you even get a hot water bottle in the bed at night because you are a bit up high. The staff is kind and attentive and the food is good. The wifi is a bit too African and only in the common areas.

Lovely staff who understand customer service and work very well as one team. Hotel facilities are very good and they have the advantage of the Ngorongoro Crater views. Lovely rooms to sleep in and great facilities around the core reception area.
