If it wasnt for the rude and unprofessional encounter of the receptionist during check in, this lodge would have gotten an excellent rating from me. Beautiful place, but VERY COLD - dress up! We had booked the room via booking.com and when we got there we were asked to pay alot more than the price indicated. After literally an HOUR...

We had booked the hotel via booking.com, upon arrival the employee at front desk wanted to charge additional 120 USD on our bill. Upon arrival my wife was sick and we were eager to check-in to our room and see the doctor on site. the lady at the front desk presented the bill which and had an additional 120 usd...

We stayed here for two nights at the end if our Safari and the hotel was amazing. All staff very attentive and polite. Our room was a little walk away from the main building and in the evening we had a guide with a torch to take us to and from our room. Each evening when we returned there would...

Great rooms with an excellent viewing room, amazing views from restaurant, pool and rooms of the crater. Coffee bar had great service and wide range of drink choices. Restaurant had delicious wide range of choices for dinner and breakfast. While at dinner staff came and laid down the beds and added hot water bottles which was a nice treat to...

I have been to the Sopa Lodge several times. The rooms are spacious and they all have a wonderful view. Best to sit around the pool or bar area to watch the sunset. I llike the fact that we can order off the menu. It is one of the few places on safari that you are able to do that....

Room 44 was a good walk away but we had no trouble with the altitude and one of our party is 70 and not in the greatest of health. Room was large with 2 queen size comfortable beds, desk, wardrobe, drawers, large safe, coffee & tea make facilities and a fridge. Plenty of storage space. There was also a small...

This is a large hotel that was busy whilst we were there. It is in the most amazing spot looking over the crater so views from pool, restaurant and bar are just breath taking. The crater is the most fantastic place for a safari, I can't believe the number of animals we saw and this hotel is in the perfect...

The layout of the property is more or less like the other Sopa properties. Nice large rooms and decent sized bathroom. The rooms have two large beds. They have played a spike guard in every room and it helps you charge various devices. The rooms are on a hill, which means there is a slope you would have to walk...
