There is nothing not to like about this permanent camp. The rooms are beautiful. But by far the best part of this is the service. The camp manager does a wonderful job and creates a great environment for the staff and guests. The wait staff in the restaurant, Nina and Paul were exceptional as was the chef. And a special...

"Wonderful" describes not only the accommodations but is an understatement when talking about the staff. Everyone who works here is absolutely amazing and kind and gracious. The tents are beautiful and comfortable and take "glamping" to the next level. Sitting on the Veranda every evening before dinner and watching the animals grazing by and drinking from the lake while being...

We stayed in 3 tented camps, in addition to 2 brick and mortar lodgings while on safari. We chose Lake Masek based on the positive reviews on this site and the recommendation of our tour operator Safari Infinity. We were guests of the property for 3 nights. Our tent compared favourably with the other properties. In fact, it was larger...

The camp is located in a remote and uniqye location in the Lake Ndutu area, just in front of Lake Masek in Southern Serengeti. We were there during a National Geographic expedition in search of great migration in February the best period to witness this extraordinary phenomen there (calving season, incredibly arge number of erbivores and predators around). Well, the...

This very luxurious "glamp" is in a superb setting on Lake Masek. It is surrounded with beautiful scenery and wildlife. The facility itself is well designed and comfortable. The lodgings are well appointed with really comfortable beds and a wonderful outside shower. The food and drink is excellent with plenty of variety. Any special request is not a problem. The...

What superlative words can I use about the Masek Tent Camp (outstanding, fabulous, phenomenal, extraordinary.) We stayed four nights, the second week of February. We arrived in a rain storm and were met at the Land Cruiser with big smiles and umbrellas and escorted into the great hall lounge and dining room. The reception was like meeting old family members....

Masek Tented Camp was our favorite lodging. A little bit of luxury in a spectacular setting. The service was fantastic. Everyone was so friendly. Wifi was spotty at best. The food was the best of our trip. I also enjoyed the African lunch that was served one day. I was surprised that there didn’t seem to be more native food...

Stayed here in Feb. 2015. One of the nicest places we stayed while on safari. The lake, bush and wildlife, created a beautiful atmosphere, saw the migration hundreds of wildebeest and their young, The Staff were friendly, food excellent, what we liked the most was being able to eat with our guide. If I ever return for another safari I...

We spent one night in this lodge beginning of February for our Honeymoon. The location of this lodge is just perfect in February as it is located in the Ndutu area where the migration is during this month. Although this year the migration was a little bit ahead of its calendar and was already going a bit more west when...

I recently spent several days here while on safari in the areas surrounding the lake and also the Serengeti. I booked via a private guide so I have no comment on the booking process if you go directly with the hotel. The property is lovely! My tent was spacious with both an indoor bathtub and an open air shower. It's...
