This place was a real highlight of our truly wonderful trip with Hoopoe Safaris (the best!). Is outside the park, about an hour to the floor of crater. The setting was spectacular, rooms super deluxe. Designed after a south African wine vineyard. Grounds are really gorgeous. Staff really great. We were lucky to be there for New Years Eve and...

Very beautiful hotel with every detail taken care of. We came back late from the crater and a bubble bath was waiting in the very nice bath tub. Grounds are very manicured and there are lots of beautiful flowers. Service is very friendly and I can not think of anything that I feel was not first class.

One of the most beautiful, serene and charming plantation inns I have every experienced. The ambience is "Old World Africa" with lovely antiques and architecture in keeping with colonial Dutch style. There were rose petal baths awaiting every evening from a safari drive and beautiful sunsets overlooking the coffee fields. The food was excellent with all produce grown on site...

When we reached the hotel we were warmly greeting by Mr Richard and his team. We were shown the property, meanwhile our luggage was in the room. We were taken to our room, which was huge, very clean, with a veranda and a great view of the plantation. Being vegetarian, Chef Benedict went out of his way to make us...

It could have been the excitement of doing my first game drive in Tanzania; it could have been the captivating design of this wooden Dutch mansion; or it could have been the unparalleled service that the team at the Manor delivered - it was simply a magical experience. The Manor was safely my favourite during my 4 weeks in East...

Gabriel, the impressive Ranger who wrote the article about climbing lions and helped with films about the Ngorongoro Crater, took us all over the interior of the huge crater, watching hippos frolic in the water, lion cubs bug their mom, giraffes eat the thorns of the accacia trees, baboons peer into car windows, a rare klipspringer well camouflaged. Our luxurious...

Visited the Manor few weeks ago, got this WOW feeling when we arrived there, it was like paradise in the middle of no where. Roads are a bit bumpy and very narrow, and not forgetting long!
