The room is a very large suite, completely separated to others, the gardens are very well taken care of and the main house is very elegant and well decorated. The food was very good, and the staff at the hotel were helpful at all times (special mention to Manager Roger). Our guide, Emmanuele, made the perfect experience taking us to...

Another excellent example of gracious hospitality in an old world luxury setting. The cottages here are beautiful. The people here were very attuned to looking after their guests, and they made us feel at home. Sharife was an amazing fellow, Swahili language instuctor, comic, gracious and intuitive. The food delicious, the beer cold, and the conversations stimulating. A very comfortable...

English manor style. Spacious and well-furnished rooms. Responsive staff. Two serious problems for me: (1) Massage: Because of prior surgeries I have residual pain in my wrists and elbows. I asked the masseuse to not massage these. She ignored me once, so I told her again. She ignored me a second time so I had to push her away. (1)...

The Manor is beyond expectations. Plush, spacious well appointed rooms with all the luxury extras. The rooms are a blend of modern comforts and old world charm. The food is great! The grounds are well maintained The staff is excellent! We were pampered way beyond closing time and mind you, the staff was happy serving us. I must mention that...

We spent 3 days/night here in February 2017. We came in from the Serengeti Pioneer tent camp, had lunch and enjoyed the property for the rest of the day. The next day our guide Peter took us to Ngorongoro crater, which is amazing/stunning/so cool. The third day we went to Lake Manyara which is worth the visit but disappointing because...

We stayed at The Manor with our daughter and son in law for a night in late October, which is the beginning of the short rainy season in Africa. On our walk back from (a delicious) dinner in another building, the four of us were attacked by safari ants who apparently often move their nests at this time of year....

Review came a bit late, but shows the power of this beautiful hotel. We spent an excellent 72 hours at this hotel in April 2016. Everything was top notch. Luxury at its finest! Without going into too much detail, extravagant!

Thank you so much for this glowing review! We are thrilled you had a lovely time with us and more so, that you chose The Manor to celebrate your wedding anniversary. Our large group is well traveled but still was blown away by the beauty and luxury of the Manor. The gardens alone were amazing but then the rooms, the setting, the main house. Staff couldn't have been more accommodating.

When you are literally paying an arm and a leg it doesn't cost your staff to smile or at least pretend to smile . I realise we were there New Years and surely they were very busy, I don't care though when you're paying big bucks per night. Food was ok, premises are very nice and so is the location....

Dear Alexis, I thank you for making the time to write about your experience at The Manor. I am very concerned that the staff did not provide the service that you can expect from us, and can fully understand that you find this unacceptable. As you know from your visits to the other Elewana Collection properties, this is not consistent...
