Initially booked one night to see if ı will love it and later wanted to book one more night however hotel was full :( I like it but ı believe rooms walls need some touch ups. Bed was very big and it was super comfy. Hot water was ok heated quite fast. Wifi was good in the room. Dinner menu was available fo 15$ and portion was quite big. Breakfast was also good w options. Security was present at the main door. Which is good and make me feel safe. A lady at the reception she was very helpfull gave informations , called taxi and help for my print outs. Very positive. Love it. Thank you, Ezgi
Close to everything in Moshi. Free wii fi and breakfast. Pool was clean and nice. The rooms were clean. Air conditioning was great. Friendly and helpful staff. Jacky at the front desk was amazing. They let us check in early. Secure parking. Only drawback no mosquito net.
We enjoyed our two-week stay and highly recommend this hotel. Our room was clean and spacious and well-stocked with supplies. The staff were friendly, professional and courteous. Breakfasts were excellent. We especially want to thank Beatrice, Jessica, Angel and Jacqueline for making our stay so comfortable and going above and beyond for us. The hotel is within walking distance to town but taking a bajaj/tuk tuk is convenient. We had an early-morning flight out of Kilimanjaro International Airport and needed to leave Moshi at 3am. The staff prepared a packaged breakfast for us to take with us and Isaac drove us to the airport in the middle of the night - we are very grateful for this. Note: Power sockets are international and fit a variety of power socket types including UK and Australian.…
Upscale accommodation , good value, with beautiful pool and garden, in the prettiest part of Moshi, but still walking distance to the bustle of town . Included breakfast is made to order and delicious. We ate often at the yummy Courage Cafe just up the road, so unfortunately we didn't try dinner at Altezza until the end of our stay. The Altezza chef is an actual chef, and the meal he prepared was absolutely one of the best we had in Africa, so we regretted not dining here earlier/ I highly recommend eating in at least once during your stay. The staff here represents the best of Tanzanian hospitality.
The hotel is nice and rooms are comfortable. The food is good. If COVID was not around then this would be a full 5 stars. But given COVID still being an issue, it was a bit concerning that staff at the hotel did not always follow the protocols, and never said anything to clients who were not wearing masks, which was just about every client in the hotel. Not sure who's job it is, but it would have been a more comfortable stay had other clients been wearing masks in common areas.
Very nice, clean and well located accommodation in Moshi. This place is ideal for when one needs to get away from chaos and get a very relaxing environment. Can get a bunch of services here, spacious rooms, WiFi, small bar, restaurant, well managed swimming pool, etc. I would not afford not to mention the friendliest staff especially at the reception. Very attentive and always looks to resolve any issue. Others too are amazing staff in providing good customer service.
What a fabulous place to stay! We had booked via bedandtree.com, so they a) planted a tree in our honor, and b) gave us their very best room at a spectacular rate! While the booking description said we'd get 17 sqm, our bathroom alone had 17sqm - incl a jacuzzi inside! The room itself was maybe 40sqm, including a separate dining area. We used Altezza to unwind after 3 weeks traveling in Tanzania (check out my profile for more reviews and tips), and that's exactly what we got here. A relaxed place with excellent hosts, a nice pool, 2km walk into the city center - what else to wish for? Can highly recommend this place! (Note: Read my review on "The Kitchen Flavor" for a fantastic lunch / dinner spot nearby.)
Best hotel by far. Beautiful garden, impecable Pool and friendly staff. AC works perfect. Wifi a tiny bit slow so wouldn’t recommend for important video meetings, but there’s is LTE coverage. There is one room that has a portable shower in a jacuzzi, so if you’re looking to take a standing shower after Kilimanjaro just make sure you tell them about it.
we stayed here for 3 nights and were very pleased with the lodge...we had a great room in the back of the lodge with a sitting room, bedroom and a large bathroom. Breakfast was quite satisfying... we did not eat any other meals there because we had our own car.....the pool area was clean....the staff went out of their way to assist us in anything we needed....the only negative was the mold in the tub area.....I would certainly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a great place with a reasonable price....
Amazing Place to spend time before/ after safari or kili hike!!! It is located in a nice neighbourhood with some good restaurant options in walking distance. The rooms are very clean, beds comfortable and the AC works fine. Breakfast is basic, but will be prepared for you at the table (no buffet) which was nice! Staff is attentive and the pool with the garden was a good place to recover.
